Did you know…

…that 4 out of 10 fashion models involuntarily swallowed “K.O.-drops” in the past?
Especially Flunitrazepam and Benzodiazepine are very popular.
Flunitrazepam is known to induce anterograde amnesia in sufficient doses; individuals are unable to remember certain events that they experienced while under the influence of the drug. This effect is particularly dangerous when flunitrazepam is used to aid in the commission of sexual assault; victims may not be able to clearly recall the assault, the assailant, or the events surrounding the assault.
It is difficult to estimate just how many flunitrazepam-facilitated rapes have occurred in the United States. Very often, biological samples are taken from the victim at a time when the effects of the drug have already passed and only residual amounts remain in the body fluids. These residual amounts are difficult, and sometimes impossible, to detect using standard screening assays available in the United States. If flunitrazepam exposure is to be detected at all, urine samples need to be collected within 72 hours and subjected to sensitive analytical tests. The problem is compounded by the onset of amnesia after ingestion of the drug, which causes the victim to be uncertain about the facts surrounding the rape. This uncertainty may lead to critical delays or even reluctance to report the rape and provide appropriate biological samples for testing. If a person suspects that he or she is the victim of a flunitrazepam-facilitated rape, he or she should get laboratory testing for flunitrazepam as soon as possible.
It must be noted that an inability to remember events, including sexual encounters, is not conclusive evidence of having consumed a drugged drink: Drunkenness itself causes blackouts, sleepiness, and a reduction in inhibitions. Only a timely screening for flunitrazepam can demonstrate its use. Be careful…

Afterwards: congratulations Nati!

Happy slapping…but this wasn’t the first time

…our tender Naomi was accused of reaching out and touching someone with a phone. In 2003, she was sued by a former administrative assistant who said Campbell had thrown a phone at her during a tantrum two years earlier.
In August 2004, in the same apartment, Naomi and her maid battled it out, with the worker claiming the supermodel slapped her across the face. Naomi accused maid Millicent Burton of instigating the fight. Naomi has a reputation for angry outbursts and abusive behavior. She pleaded guilty in Toronto to an assault charge for beating another assistant while making a film in Canada in 1998.
She also battled a cocaine addiction before reportedly getting straight several years ago.
But hey! Getting hit by Naomi could make you rich …

Naomi and the bloody evidence

A day after Naomi Campbell was charged with assaulting her housekeeper, Ana Scolavino, the supermodel is saying it’s all a case of “he said, she said.”
Naomi was charged for allegedly throwing her cell phone at the housekeeper after accusing the woman of stealing clothes when she couldn’t find a pair of jeans she wanted to wear on “Oprah,” prosecutors said.
She was released on her own recognizance and allowed to keep her passport after her lawyer argued that her famous face would prevent her from fleeing.
“She is probably the most recognized and prominent model in the world,” defense attorney David Breitbart told a judge Thursday in Manhattan Criminal Court. “There is no place she could go and not be recognized.”
As for the evidence? Scolavino’s attorney, Michael Block, showed Access a white apron and sweater covered in blood.
Block, who came out from Scolavino’s Brooklyn apartment to tell us his client’s side of the story, claims Scolavino, 42, was wearing the clothes at the time she was assaulted.
“Between 8 and 8:30 in the morning, Ms. Campbell was looking for a certain pair of jeans apparently and couldn’t find them,” Block said. “She got very upset, and she wanted to know where the jeans were. The jeans were kept upstairs, and when my client attempted to explain this to her, Naomi got more and more angry”
“Apparently, it was verbally said, ‘You’re discharged’ but then said, ‘Please, help me find the jeans,’” Block said. “They went back upstairs to look for the jeans. She began screaming again. My client said, ‘Look, I can’t take this further abuse and I’m leaving.’ And she started walking away and that’s when she was struck at the bottom of the steps with the phone. We believe a telephone.”
Naomi, wearing a white fur poncho, was arraigned on a charge of second-degree assault before Judge Richard Weinberg, who allowed Breitbart to enter a plea of not guilty on her behalf.
In a statement issued late Thursday, Naomi called the allegation that she hit or injured her housekeeper “completely untrue.” She said she had questioned Scolavino about missing items since she started working for the model more than two months ago.
“She is sadly mistaken if she thinks she can extract money from me by concocting lies by recycling old stories,” the supermodel said. “I have asked my lawyer to look into filing both theft and extortion charges against her.”
The housekeeper was treated at a hospital for a cut that required four staples, said Assistant District Attorney Elina Kreditor, who asked the judge to set bail at $3,500 and to order Naomi, who is British, to surrender her passport.
Breitbart called the request for $3,500 bail “an insult,” saying his client’s Park Avenue apartment is worth more than $3 million and she earns “more than six figures on a regular basis.”
He said Naomi needed her passport for a trip to South Africa next week to visit Nelson Mandela. He asked the judge for orders to keep the housekeeper away from Naomi’s apartment.
The judge said Scolavino, would have to give up her key to the apartment and issued an order of protection against Naomi, telling her she could have no contact with the employee. He scheduled her next court appearance for June 27.
The assault took place at about 8:30 a.m. inside Naomi’s apartment, according to a criminal complaint. The housekeeper was hit in the back of the head and was treated at Lenox Hill Hospital, it said.
A woman who answered the after-hours media relations number at the hospital said no one was available to comment and that she could not provide any information on Scolavino.
Naomi was taken into custody shortly after police responded to the hospital to investigate the reported attack.
Facing a familiar sea of cameras, Naomi exited a Manhattan police station shortly after 4 p.m. in a scene that was part runway, part perp walk. Scores of photographers, reporters and film crews had gathered to record her departure; she responded by flashing a quick smile.
In a statement, Naomi’s spokesman said the supermodel was not responsible for any assault.
“We believe this is a case of retaliation, because Naomi had fired her housekeeper earlier this morning,” said the statement from J.R. Johnson. “We are confident the courts will see it the same way.”

Kate and Pete : both hit out at photographers

It seems like Kate Moss and Pete Doherty are beginning to get rather annoyed at all their press coverage: both hit out at photographers this week.
Kate apparently hit a waiting photographer with her handbag as she left friend Davinia Taylor’s home and earlier the same day, Pete lashed out with a golf umbrella.
A source told the Daily Star: “Pete is unpredictable at the best of times but this time he completely lost it.”
“He was swinging the umbrella on the windscreen of the car and screaming at the people inside, who looked absolutely terrified at the attack.”
“It was really alarming behaviour - he must have been really upset.”

once upon a time… I. Karen Mulder

Remember this story?

MULDER PARENTS BLAME DRUGS
BEN MULDER blames cocaine, lack of food and a failure to come to terms with the end of her career for sending his “beautiful, intelligent” former supermodel daughter Karen “into a black hole of despair”.
Described by her father as “broken, emotionally and physically”, Karen has been under sedation in the Montsouris hospital, Paris, for the past three months after suffering a nervous breakdown on the set of a French chat show last October. In front of a live audience, the 33-year-old Dutch model claimed that she and other girls had been used as sex slaves by senior figures in the police and French government. “I’m certain cocaine caused Karen’s desperate situation,” her father tells today’s Daily Express. “When we visited her in Paris we could see for ourselves. Everywhere there were notebooks full of her tangled thoughts and mad ideas. She was accusing everyone and everything. It was awful to read them. She needs to remain in hospital because she is a danger to herself.” Mulder adds that Karen’s eating habits must have contributed to her fragile mental state. “It hasn’t helped that she has never eaten the way she should do,” he goes on. “Even as a child she used to throw the milk she was supposed to drink with her meal away in the plants.” But Mulder, who currently commutes with his wife Marijke between their home in Holland and the hospital, hopes that Karen will make a full recovery. “What she’s living through now is temporary,” he said, explaining that she is no longer confined to bed and has taken up her childhood hobby of painting. “Slowly, she’ll come to peace.” (24 January 2002, AM)  Source:The Mirror
Sure, they say Karen’s accusing everyone and everything but what if she wasn’t the first to accuse them? We shouldn’t forget the sixhundredfortythree scandals of the almighty Elite Model Management (ok, it weren’t so many but it comes close to it) and the breakthrough of BBC-reporter Donald MacIntyre.
But let’s come back to Karen’s hallucinations which abruptly disappeared after a few months and millions (from French taxpayers??). This case is one of uncountable cases where the fashion industry extinguished the ember before it started to burn…. a never ending loop controlled by lewd thugs.

I had no idea this thing was published. Is my face red?

First of all I’d like to apologize for my rosty “Angloamerican” that I enforce your eyes to read.
This blog should give you an insight into the rosy world of our beloved fashion models and its bizarre figures , packed fine in a controversial milieu made of nepotism, drugs, parties, scandals, embezzlement and not to forget sex. But for all that we shouldn’t forget the beauty and entertainment we obtain from their sacrifice.
While being a model isn’t that easy, becoming one isn’t that hard anymore with all these new agencies and their hordes of agents, scouts and ‘overseers’.
Would it be a wonder then if you get discovered tomorrow?
