Boselli disagrees with topmodel strike!

May 19th, 2006

Heidi Klum for Victoria's SecretAccording to the Chairman of the Italian Fashion Operators, Mario Boselli, striking, when it comes to top-models, is understandable in principle yet not to be endorsed: “qualified value added professional fashion services and related media need to be brought back to Italy - Boselli told Assomoda parties -; clearly we must safeguard all parties involved in the sector, and that involves re-establishing the sector professions”. Boselli went on to add that it is just as important that “rules need to be set, and they must apply to both Italian model agencies and foreign agencies operating in Italy, so as to provide a fair deal in terms of the rights and obligations to all parties alike”. Boselli stressed his disagreeing with the strike but admits that “possibly, in fact certainly, it brought the issue to the fore”.
