Paris Hilton dreams of her “Crazy” cover
May 23rd, 2006
Paris Hilton has revealed auditions plans to record a cover version of Gnarls Barkley’s smash hit “Crazy” for her new album - which now looks to have been moved back for a possible September release.
Originally planned for a summer release on her own Heiress Records - a subsidy of Warner Bros. - the wannabe fashion model and hotel heiress now aims to put the album out at the end of the summer.
“It’s just Paris’s latest idea and because she shares a label with Gnarls, she thinks that it will all be a piece of cake,” a source told the Daily Star. “The chances of it happening are minute, but everything has to go on pause again while it’s all discussed. That means the album won’t now be out until about September. At first it was July, then August. It keeps nearly getting finished and then something else happens.”
The self-titled set will reportedly include cover versions of Blondie’s “Heart Of Glass”, Rod Stewart’s “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy”, and the first single, produced by Scott Storch, “Turn It Up”.
