Kate Moss has given up her plans to settle in the US and has enrolled her daughter at a school in London instead. Kate was thinking of relocating to LA after the infamous cocaine photographs last September and daughter Lila Grace attended a nursery over there for a while. But after the initial backlash and possibility of police charges blew over, Kate has returned to the UK. Now Lila is set to start private prep school Trevor-Roberts School in Hampstead later in the year, suggesting that Kate has long term plans for the family to stay in London. A friend confirmed: “Kate wants to stay here. It’s where her family and friends live.”

Beauty isn’t the only factor to becoming a supermodel. Tricia Helfer, host of Canada’s Next Top Model, says it also takes hard work and determination. “It’s not just the prettiest girl that walks into a room that makes it to the top,” Helfer says. After six successful seasons of America’s Next Top Model, the show is getting a Canadian makeover.
The 10 finalists are:
- Alanna, 19, from Kelowna, B.C.
- Andrea, 19, from Whitby
- Brandi, 21, from Vancouver
- Dawn, 22, from Calgary
- Heather, 19, from Blenheim, Ont.
- Natalie, 21, from New Westminster, B.C.
- Sisi, 23, from Richmond, B.C.
- Sylvie, 23, from Sherwood Park, Alta.
- Tenika, 23, from Newmarket
- Ylenia, 23, from Vancouver
Living in a glamourous waterfront property on Vancouver Island, the contestants will learn how to become a supermodel. Like the American version, the ladies will partake in weekly challenges to test their modeling abilities. “We followed the format of the American show exactly. Our idea is if it’s not broke why try and fix it?” Helfer says. “But anytime you get a different group of people together, a different culture of people, you’re going to have a different dynamic.” The panel of judges — FashionTelevision’s Jeanne Beker, celebrity stylist Paul Venoit and model and runway coach Stacey McKenzie — will provide feedback on each model and send one home each week. The winner will be given a modelling contract with Sutherland Models agency, be featured in Fashion Magazine and receive a $100,000 contract from Procter & Gamble. Catch the show Wednesday with guest stars Jay Manuel of America’s Next Top Model and rock ‘n’ roll photographer Andrew MacNaughtan on Canada’s Citytv at 8 p.m.

Forget about that naked teen in Obsession campaign. Kate Moss and her new ad campaign for French bag mogul Longchamp features her sexiest shots ever, in my not-so-humble opinion.
The new campaign with Kate Moss, which was shot by Mario Sorrenti in New York last month, “focused on her interpretation of the mythically seductive worlds of yesteryear stars Marilyn Monroe and Brigitte Bardot”, reports Vogue.
Unfortunately we will have to wait until August to admire Kate Moss - the ad campaign will launch later this summer.

Maybe Kate Moss has found a new best friend, the former band mate of her ex-boyfriend Pete Doherty, Dirty Pretty Things lead singer Carl Barat. Kate hooked up with Barat after a Dirty Pretty Things gig in London recently, she dumped her ‘friend’ Russell Brand to spend two and a half hours in Barat’s dressing room before heading back to the band’s hotel. A source said to the Star of Moss’ behaviour: “It sends a very clear message to Pete. Carl and Kate spent a lot of time talking and you can probably guess what about. “It’s more like a couple of exes forming a bond to help each other heal their wounds. Carl was his best mate. “It’s still very awkward for Carl to talk about it even though he gets asked all the time. “They both still have feelings for Pete but when he’s the way he is, it’s impossible to be around him. It’s good for them to have become friends, a sort of Doherty support group. But it’ll hurt Pete, he’ll feel betrayed.” Who gives a shit, it’s not like they both haven’t tried to help him…
Meanwhile Kate has fuelled rumours that she has rekindled her relationship with troubled rocker Pete Doherty after he was spotted leaving her home.
Doherty, who was coming out of Moss’ house in a dishevelled condition, was shocked to see paparazzi waiting outside. To avoid them, he sprinted on to the road in front of a passing lorry, narrowly avoiding a serious accident. He pleaded for a ride and fled on the rubbish disposal truck.
The couple have not been seen together since Moss dumped Doherty when photos of her snorting cocaine with the rocker were published in a British newspaper.

And the saga continues… As reported Supermodel Karolina Kurkova pulled out of presenting an award at the American Image Awards last week. The Czech model was reportedly due to present the Fashion Maverick Award to the Creative Director of Barney’s Simon Doonan. Now the famously outspoken Doonan launched a verbal attack on the model when he finally received the award in New York.He said she had pulled out in typical model fashion and added:”Needless to say, this is something she will live to regret.” He also poked fun at Kurkova’s immigration issue which was her reason for pulling out at the last minute.

We were starting to get a little bit confused about James Blunt’s love life. But there’s now talk that the Beautiful singer is stepping out with a certain supermodel. Rumours started that posh James and
Petra Nemcova were getting friendly when they were spotted together at a charity gig at the end of 2005. But now, Petra seems to be hinting that things are getting a lot more serious. According to New York Post’s Page Six, she gave a few little clues at a recent photo shoot.
Apparently, she insisted that James’ hit album Back To Bedlam was played over and over again… And even warbled along to all the songs. “Oh, I know him very well,” the Czech model is said to have told people on the shoot, who also revealed that she “kept smiling and giggling like a proud girlfriend”. James hasn’t had much luck with the ladies recently.
Tara Palmer-Tomkinson had a few choice words for the singer-songwriter after a brief dalliance.

Big Brother housemate David Graham’s claim that he was a friend of British model
Kate Moss and modelled with her in Milan appears to have been just a way to catch the producers’ eye. Melbourne friends of Graham had no idea about the Moss friendship, which he told producers about during auditions in November. They might have met in the corridors, but that’s about it.
As for his Milan modelling, where are the photos to prove he was there?
