Doherty banned from flying easyJet
June 4th, 2006
Wasn’t just a couple weeks ago that Pete Doherty vowed to turn his life around in an attempt to win back Kate Moss? Well getting tossed off a jet and being banned from flying an airline for life is probably not a good first step.
Reports have a suspicious flight crew checking the on board bathroom after Doherty spent a bit too long inside only to find a bloodied syringe. Police investigated, but couldn’t find evidence that it was indeed from Doherty. The Babyshambles frontman apparently did have methadone with him, which is used to get over a heroin addiction. So, it is possible that even if it were Pete’s syringe that it wasn’t being used for entirely nefarious purposes. Nothing seems to go right for this guy. But, the kids still love him. The Libertines “Up The Bracket” was chosen as one of the Top 15 records of all-time by NME readers. We can see an easyJet boycott coming from the protective Doherty loyalists in the near future.

Servers Doherty right. I wish he would die from OD.
