Lawyer’s Body blow for Elle…

The battle of The Body is set to rage on, with Elle Macpherson unlikely to head to court to wrestle back ownership of the title from her challenger, fellow supermodel Heidi Klum.
One of the most prominent lawyers in the US, Floyd Abrams, has weighed into catwalk catfight, the saying the 42-year-old Aussie would struggle to succeed in court action against Klum for pinching her trademark name.
“I think it’s dubious that a description as banal and obvious as `The Body’ can receive much in the way of legal protection,” Abrams told the Los Angeles Times.
But while Abrams, a famous First Amendment attorney, doesn’t think Macpherson has a case, he makes no secret about which of the two bodies he thinks should own the title.
“As for the more critical issue of which of the two supermodels is more deserving of the appellation, I’m with Elle,” he said.
