Anna Nicole Smith found dead in Florida hotel room!

Anna Nicole Smith - her litzy life found an abrupt end...Even though she’s not a ”fashion model”, we think her death should be mentioned after all anorexia and diet discussions of the past few months…
Heiress-reality TV star Anna Nicole Smith, 39, was announced dead upon arrival Thursday at the Memorial Regional Hospital in Floriday. Smith been staying at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
No cause for Smith’s death has been announced. CNN is reporting that despite earlier reports that Smith had been found unconscious in her room, she was in fact found already dead.
Smith had originally worked as a restaurant waitress before becoming a Playboy model, and then definitively jumping into the limelight when she married an elderly oil tycoon.
Smith’s death comes just one day after she and the diet company TrimSpa were named in a class-action lawsuit that alleged the diet company’s marketing was false or misleading. Smith was the spokeswoman for TrimSpa. The lawsuit had sought to stop TrimSpa – and Smith – from claiming that people could lose weight by using its product.
Relatedly, in January the US Federal Trade Commission said that TrimSpa would pay $1.5 million to settle claims that its diet products were unsubstantiated.
The TrimSpa case was just one of a series of events to hit Smith, including the death of her son Daniel last year in her Bahama’s hospital room where she had given birth to a daughter.
Following the death of her son, Smith had found herself involved in challenges regarding her daughter’s paternity. Smith had been ordered to submit her daughter for DNA testing by February 21 as part of the legal battle to determine who is the baby’s biological father, and that involved her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead.
On top of it all, Smith was still involved in a legal battle over the estate of the oil tycoon J. Howard Marshall, II who she married when she was 26. Marshall was 89 and died a year after they were married. Smith initially won a $474 million judgment against the Marshall’s estate and his son Pierce, however that was later cut to $89 million and then once again reduced to nothing.
In May the US Supreme Court ruled that Smith could pursue her claims to inheritance in California courts.

NY fashion set defends lack of ban on skinny models…

New York Fashion WeekThe leading US fashion industry body defended its decision not to issue minimum weight guidelines for models appearing at New York fashion week, despite growing calls for regulation.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America last month issued a series of recommendations on the issue, but stopped short of bringing in strict minimum weight-to-height ratios for models as some European authorities have done.
The council’s president, designer Diane von Furstenberg, said that while the industry had a responsibility to act, regulation was not the answer.
“Since we are in the business of fashion, we create aspirational images and it’s important that we project health as a part of beauty,” Von Furstenberg said at a discussion on the issue held during New York’s fashion week.
The council’s proposals include organizing seminars on eating disorders, banning models under 16 from the catwalk and helping those in the industry identify the early signs of conditions such as anorexia.
“There should be guidelines, and no enforcement,” Von Furstenberg told the forum of nutritionists, models and fashion industry insiders. The council said last month its guidelines were “about awareness and education, not policing.”
“We never wanted to have regulations or mandatory requirements,” Steven Kolb, director of the designers’ council said earlier this month. “Regulation is not the best way to go.”
The issue has been climbing up the agenda particularly since the death of an anorexic Brazilian model late last year.
Some Italian and Spanish authorities, by contrast, have banned models with a body mass index of less than 18 — with 18.5 on the scale being the World Health Organization’s standard of a minimum healthy height to weight ratio.
Joy Bauer, a nutritionist advising the designers’ council, said looking at only body mass index oversimplified the problem.
“This issue is much more than the BMI or weight,” she said. “There are other factors, genetics and age. Some women can have a low BMI and be healthy.
“I don’t think weighing the models is realistic. It can create even more anxiety and thus more problems,” she said.
Top model Natalia Vodianova, the face of the Calvin Klein campaigns, gave a personal account of bursting onto the international fashion scene.
“In 2002 I started to do shows, and I felt the pressure from the industry. At 19… I went to a point when my weight was 106 (pounds, 48 kilos). My hair was thinning, I was nervous and oversensitive. “Luckily I was confronted by a good friend, a doctor. I was not even aware I was not healthy,” she said, welcoming the first steps towards tackling the issue in the United States.
Designer Donna Karan said the modeling agencies bore a large responsibility in taking care of their charges. “It starts at the beginning: the family and the modeling agency,” she said. “The agency is the mother of the models.”
Another designer, Tory Burch, said that any rules would be hard to enforce in the United States.
Others disagree. Lynn Grefe, head of the National Eating Disorders Association, said she was disappointed by the current suggestions.
“I don’t understand why they are opposed to physical testing,” she said. Her group earlier described the council’s measures unveiled last month as “a band-aid on a much larger wound.”
“Our concern is, who is going to monitor this program? What are the next steps? Eating disorders kill. For the sake of the models themselves and the young women who look up to them, change is vital,” it said at the time.
“The fashion industry does not cause eating disorders, but to a young girl predisposed to an eating disorder, these images are like handing them a loaded gun.”
The designers’ council insists its recommendations are just a first step, but some have other plans.
One New York City council member, Gale Brewer, has already put forward proposals that would introduce rules on the minimum age and weight of models.

AskMen’s most desirable women-list

AskMen Top99AskMen, the Internet’s #1 lifestyle site for men and one of the premier sites in the Fox Interactive Media (FIM) network, recently unveiled its 7th annual Top 99 Most Desirable Women list, brought to readers by returning sponsor Budweiser Select. AskMen readers cast a record number of online votes this year – more than 8.5 million – to name the women who best embody the qualities of a “fantasy girlfriend.” Beyonce Knowles, the famous singer turned actress, is the #1 Most Desirable Woman of 2007. Screen star Scarlett Johansson is the runner-up and actress Jessica Alba, last year’s #1 Most Desirable Woman, rounds out the top three. The remaining top ten include Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima, actress Jessica Biel, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio, Latin American pop singer Shakira, “Access Hollywood” host Maria Menounos, actress and U.N. Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie and actress Elisha Cuthbert.

The Top 99 Women of 2007
AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women list first emerged in 2001 as an attempt to counterbalance the surplus of “Most Sexy” and “Most Beautiful” lists published elsewhere by other men’s lifestyle outlets. In casting their votes for the annual Top 99 Most Desirable Women, AskMen.com readers are asked to look beyond the nominees’ surface assets and take into account the character traits that they would prize in a girlfriend or wife, such as strength of personality, ambition and intelligence.
From the reveal of the inaugural winner, Laetitia Casta, to that of last year’s No. 1, Jessica Alba, the Top 99 Most Desirable Women lists have acted as the definitive gauge for identifying what modern men desire most in their female companions. This year, over 8.5 million votes were cast worldwide as AskMen.com readers identified those females from the worlds of music, entertainment and fashion who they felt best represented their ideal woman.
Big Things in Store for This Year’s Winner? Since its inception, the AskMen.com Top 99 Most Desirable Women has become somewhat of a predictor list; the No. 1 women of years past have gone on to experience career watersheds shortly after earning the distinction. After taking the 2002 title, Italian actress Monica Bellucci broke into the American market with a series of high-profile roles. 2003’s Most Desirable Woman, Charlize Theron, won her first Academy Award a year thereafter, and Adriana Lima’s 2005 anointment was followed up by her firm establishment as one of Victoria’s Secret’s banner models and a household name and face. Only time will tell what lies ahead for 2007’s titleholder.

The Top 5
This year’s top five women includes two former AskMen.com Top 99 titleholders, an actress who was recently named as the sexiest woman alive by FHM magazine, the breathtakingly beautiful girlfriend of an iconic New York city sports legend, and a multi-Grammy award-winning Bootylicious Dreamgirl.

Number 5
Jessica Biel

What is she known for?
Although best-known for her role as Mary Camden in the WB’s squeaky clean series 7th Heaven, Jessica Biel has shown her diversity as an actress in taking on less PG-rated roles since her departure from the show. She was seen screaming for her life in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003), donning a period costume and an English accent in The Illusionist (2006), and heading to war in Home of the Brave (2006). Of course, we can’t forget to mention that she’s also known for having one of the best bodies in Hollywood.
2006 Career highlights
Jessica’s increasingly higher profile in the media has garnered her a two-spot jump on our list. Formerly at No. 7, Jessica spent the last year appearing in two films (The Illusionist and Home of the Brave), and donating her time to various charities like Make the Difference Network, PETA and the home rehabilitation organization Rebuilding Together. She also showed the world that her heart is as big as her talent as she auctioned herself off for a date to raise money for a Colorado teen who lost her leg in a tragic car accident; the winning bid for a date with this stunning starlet was an impressive $30,000.
As for her personal life, Jessica spent the latter part of the year frolicking on the beach or taking strolls around Los Angeles with her rumored boyfriend, New York Yankees star shortstop Derek Jeter.
2007 career forecast
2007 will see Jessica Biel starring alongside Hollywood heavyweights Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore in Next, and the comedy I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry with Adam Sandler and Kevin James.

Number 4
Adriana Lima

What is she known for?
Known as “the best face in the industry” and “the most in-demand runway model in the world,” Adriana Lima is at the very top of the supermodel food chain. Although she is best-known for her status as one of the sizzling Victoria’s Secret Angels, she is also the spokesmodel for Guess?, XOXO and Armani Jeans. Over the course of her career, she has appeared in dozens of ad campaigns and has graced the pages of innumerable fashion magazines.
2006 Career highlights
After topping AskMen.com’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2005 and sitting comfortably in the No. 4 spot of the 2006 edition, Adriana is back in the top 5 in 2007. Over the past year, Adriana has become one of the most coveted models in the industry and the third highest-paid model in the world. In fact, she is so famous in Italy that she can’t even walk down the street. “It’s insane!” she says. “Some people ask me for my autograph and a picture, but mostly they will follow me around. They follow me into bathrooms!”
2007 career forecast
Adriana will appear alongside Heidi Klum, Gisele Bundchen and Alessandra Ambrosio, in the 2007 edition of the insanely hot Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She’ll also continue to strut her stuff on the world’s runways. But this Brazilian beauty isn’t only concerned with the fashion world. In fact, she continues to help with the expansion of an orphanage in her hometown of Salvador, Brazil. “When I help someone, I lose 0.01% of my ego,” she says.

Number 3
Jessica Alba

What is she known for?
Jessica Alba is cited as one of the most interesting celebrities in Hollywood. Voted AskMen.com’s 2006 Most Desirable Woman, she is a perfect package, combining beauty, sex appeal, and innate kindness with a sarcastic edge. “I’m really good at being sarcastic with guys. That’s the best way to hang out with them, because that’s what guys like. They don’t want the quiet, prissy little things,” she says.
2006 Career highlights
Jessica Alba is a classic good girl. In 2006, she was involved in a law suit against Playboy for its use of her image without her consent. “I don’t do nudity. I just don’t. Maybe that makes me a bad actress. Maybe I won’t get hired in some things. But I have too much anxiety.” Proof of her innate goodness, she later dropped the lawsuit after Hugh Hefner apologized and agreed to make donations to two charities that Alba has supported.
Want more proof of her kindness? During the filming of Awake (2007), Alba and Hayden Christensen visited the nearby Bellevue hospital and spent time with the children, bringing them Christmas goodies.
2007 Career forecast
Jessica Alba’s career is showing no signs of slowing down. She has seven movies coming out in 2007, including sequels to Sin City and Fantastic Four.

Number 2
Scarlett Johansson

What is she known for?
Although she’s been acting for over a decade, Scarlett Johansson burst onto the scene with a star-making performance in 2003’s Lost in Translation. Scarlett spent the last several years appearing in a wide variety of films, including a historical drama (2003’s Girl with a Pearl Earring), a science-fiction thriller (2005’s The Island), and even a feature-length cartoon (Scarlett lent her voice to The SpongeBob Squarepants Movie). Scarlett’s reputation for hooking up with some of the hottest men in Hollywood — young (Jared Leto) and old (Benicio Del Toro) — precedes her, and she’s made it clear on several occasions that she doesn’t entirely believe in the concept of monogamy.
2006 Career highlights
2006 was an expectedly busy year for Scarlett, as the actress appeared in three films of varying success. Scoop reunited the actress with her Match Point director, Woody Allen, while The Black Dahlia found Scarlett acting opposite then-boyfriend Josh Hartnett. Scarlett also appeared in Christopher Nolan’s follow-up to Batman Begins, The Prestige, and lent her voice to two episodes of Comedy Central’s Robot Chicken.
True to her sassy and daring nature, Scarlett raised some eyebrows in February when she appeared naked along with Keira Knightley on the cover of Vanity Fair, and it’s consequently not difficult to see why she’s remained a fixture on this list for the last several years.
2007 Forecast
Scarlett’s fans can expect to see (and hear) more of her over the coming year, as her first endeavor is due to be released in April. The Nanny Diaries, based on the hit book, casts Scarlett alongside folks like Paul Giamatti, Laura Linney and Chris Evans, while The Other Boleyn Girl — a historical drama set during the reign of King Henry VIII — counts Natalie Portman and Eric Bana among its cast members. Scarlett is also hard at work on her first album, Scarlett Sings Tom Waits, which will (as the title implies) consist entirely of Tom Waits covers.

Number 1
Beyonce

What is she known for?
As the front woman for one of the most popular female groups of all time, Destiny’s Child, and a multi-platinum selling solo artist, Beyonce is known the world over for her soulful voice, infectious smile and ladylike poise. In the last few years, this Southern belle has also carried her talent onto the big screen, starring in such films as Austin Powers: Goldmember (2002), The Pink Panther (2006) and the critically acclaimed, award-season favorite Dreamgirls (2006).
2006 Career highlights
Beyonce’s accomplishments over the last year have helped skyrocket her from last year’s No. 50 position to the coveted No. 1 spot (and deservedly so). Yes, she’s breathtakingly beautiful — with sexy curves, wide eyes and luscious lips that make her every man’s fantasy woman — but add a few scoops of talent to that beauty and you have the perfect 10. Beyonce not only proves that she looks great on the red carpet, but she demonstrates that she actually deserves to be on it.
Not only did she help Destiny’s Child sell a total of 60 million albums and singles worldwide from 1998 to 2005, but her solo albums, Dangerously in Love (2003) and B’Day (2006), went platinum many times over and garnered her a combined 11 Grammy Award nominations in 2004 and 2007. At the 2004 Grammys, she took home five of the six awards she was nominated for.
2006 was Beyonce’s year; B’Day sold more than 541,000 copies in the U.S. in its first week, giving her the record once held by Christina Aguilera as the highest first-week sales of any solo female artist that year. This also marked the year that Beyonce made her biggest and brightest silver-screen performance as Deena Jones in Dreamgirls. She received much critical praise for her role, and even garnered a coveted Golden Globe Award nomination.
And while she has all the talent and beauty in the world, Beyonce’s big heart is what makes her the perfect woman. Her most notable philanthropic efforts have included becoming a global ambassador for the 2005 World Children’s Day program, and forming the Survivor Foundation that same year for Hurricane Katrina victims in the Houston, Texas area.
This female powerhouse has taken the world by storm and has certainly proven that everything she touches turns to gold.
2007 Career forecast
Beyonce’s stream of good luck from 2006 will surely carry over into 2007. The star has already garnered nominations for some of the most prestigious awards in the industry: including a Golden Globe nomination and multiple Grammy nods.

Kate Moss denies marrying Pete Doherty…

Kate Moss and something called a man...There is still hope! A spokesman for Kate Moss denied Tuesday reports the supermodel and rocker Pete Doherty had tied the knot during a candlelit Buddhist ceremony in Thailand on New Year’s Day.
Stuart Higgins said Moss, 32, was vacationing in Thailand, but hadn’t married Doherty, frontman for Babyshambles.
“There has not been any kind of marriage ceremony in Thailand. She is on holiday,” Higgins said.
British newspapers reported that Moss and Doherty had held the ceremony in the Thai resort of Phuket. Neither the Sun nor the Daily Mirror provided sources for the information. The Mirror quoted an unnamed friend of Moss as saying the ceremony was an expression of the couple’s mutual devotion.
Higgins called the reports “entirely false.”
Moss and Doherty were reported by British media to be staying at one of the island’s luxury resorts—the sort where guests have their own private swimming pools—but hoteliers were discreet about the matter.
A spokeswoman for the Amanpuri hotel, contacted by phone from Bangkok, denied the couple were staying there and said she had no knowledge of their whereabouts, though she had received many calls asking about them.
At the Trisara, a high-end resort and spa that opened in 2004, General Manager Anthony Lark said: “We don’t talk about any of our guests. That’s just something we don’t do. We have a very simple policy of protecting our guests.”
He said prices at the resort started at $1,000 a day and went as high as $6,000 for a five-bedroom villa. Asked what guests get for their money, he answered: “Privacy.”
The Sun said the ceremony wasn’t legally binding in Britain, and named Jan. 18 as the pair’s official wedding day. Both papers ran blurry images of the couple; the back of Moss’ head, her hair pulled back, could be seen, and Doherty, as usual, wore a trilby hat.
Moss has modeling contracts with companies ranging from Louis Vuitton and Chanel to Topshop. In September 2005, the Mirror ran photographs of the model allegedly using cocaine at a recording studio where Babyshambles was working.
After the pictures were published, Moss publicly apologized and went to a drug rehabilitation clinic in Arizona. Prosecutors decided in June there was insufficient evidence to charge her.
Doherty, 27, often makes headlines over his battle with drugs. The former lead singer of The Libertines, Doherty has been charged several times with drug-related offenses. In 2004, Doherty—along with former Libertines partner Carl Barat—was named coolest man on the planet by British music magazine NME. In 2005, Doherty dropped to sixth place; in 2006 he was 28th.

Supermodel busted slumming at H&M!

Agyness DeanBargain hunter DeanScandal! A Radar spy has just spotted the current face of Armani and Mulberry , model Agyness Dean, shopping at discount designer fashion retailer H&M in Soho. Fashion’s androgynous muse of the moment was wearing navy slim pants, a grey fur coat, and a knit hat with blue pom-poms—throw in an eight ball, and she’d practically be the next Kate Moss. (Agyness, not content with culturally stimulating world of modeling, also has a band and will be guest deejaying at MisShapes in Manhattan this week). It’s not as bad as being busted fingering through the Jacyln Smith Collection, but if we were her we’d stay out of H&M for now. It’s fashion week, after all.

Kate Moss dumps Pete Doherty for the jillionth time…

Kate Moss and professional junkie Pete Supermodel Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have a fairytale romance going, or at least they would if there was a fairytale called The Dirty-Looking Bell-End, The Skinny Princess And The Pile Of Drugs Bigger Than A Double Decker Bus – which we’re not entirely sure that there is.
Anyway, the news here is that Kate Moss has probably dumped Pete Doherty over his continued drug problem after pictures of him apparently shooting up cocaine were published in several newspapers. Now, the world’s most famous supermodel splitting up with her long-term partner over something as illegal and dangerous as a drug addiction would undoubtedly be huge news, if not for the fact that Kate Moss and Pete Doherty appear to be contractually obliged to break up with one another at least once every 15 milliseconds.
The saga of Kate Moss and Pete Doherty is so long and knotty that we can barely bring ourselves to think about it, let alone write about it. But today is different because a) it was either this or an article about Janet Street-Porter pretending to be a nurse and b) Kate Moss and Pete Doherty have totally split up forever, and it’s all because – shock horror – Pete Doherty took some drugs.
When Kate Moss first got together with Pete Doherty they were a solid unit, albeit a scabby-looking unit with manky fingernails. Nothing could pull Kate Moss and Pete Doherty apart, except for a big photo of Kate Moss snorting drugs on the front of a newspaper. When that happened Kate Moss split up with Pete Doherty until he quit the drugs, which he half-heartedly tried to do enough until Kate Moss took him back. From thereon in it was all talk of Kate Moss getting pregnant and Kate Moss and Pete Doherty getting married.
But that’s where this latest trouble starts. When Kate Moss and Pete Doherty attempted their Thai wedding fakeout it was ostensibly to show the press how clever they were at stringing the media along, although Pete Doherty did tend to use the trip as a way of getting his hands on as many drugs as his pasty body could consume. After a video of him apparently shooting up cocaine was splashed all over the Internet, Kate Moss has decided to take action and dump Pete Doherty. Again. According to MTV, this is what a source close to Kate Moss and Pete Doherty told The Evening Standard:
“Kate is understandably livid about these pictures. That they were taken just two days after their special commitment ceremony simply adds insult to injury. Of course Kate still loves Pete and vice-versa but she’s a clever woman and knows that she has got to put her career first. Kate needs to start looking after herself – or at least be seen to be doing so – and has been strongly advised to take some time off from Pete. This means not getting herself photographed with him and certainly no raucous nights out – at least until the fuss has all died down a bit.”
So Kate Moss is single again, huh? You know what this means boys – first one to get some genuine Kate Moss hair wins a medal. Go get ‘em.

Rome fashion designers send mixed signals in skinny model debate…

Giovanna Melandri , government minister for sport and youthAt one show a model, clad in a super slim gown, tossed a tape measure onto the catwalk. At another show a 6-year-old modeled a T-shirt bearing the slogan “I love diet.”
The gestures during the four-day couture this week show that for Italian designers the debate on modeling standards is still open.
A fashion manifesto initiated by Giovanna Melandri, government minister for sport and youth, and signed in December by representatives of the Italian fashion chamber called for regulations on age and weight for models participating in the myriad of fashion events held in this country year round.
It came in the wake of a 21-year-old Brazilian model’s death from anorexia in November. At the time of her death the 1.72 meters tall (5-foot-8 inch) model weighed (40 kilograms) 88 pounds.
The code bans models under 16 years of age from the catwalk and requires models to present a health certificate before auditioning for a show. The code also carries a promise from designers to add larger sizes to their collections. At present many collections are shown in size 6-8. The new fashion code aimed at both designers and model agencies, however, is self- regulatory.
“Nobody is forced to do anything,” said Stefano Dominella, head of Rome Fashion and a co-signer of December’s document, during this week’s couture showings. “It is meant to take the heat off designers, often blamed for the fascination with being skinny, and at the same time to make them more responsible,” Dominella added.
Although several of the more than 30 designers showing their colorful summer wears attempted to squeeze voluptuous models into skimpy styles, the majority opted to stick with a slim silhouette.
“Ever since its birth, fashion has been synonymous with slender,” said Frida Giannini, designer for Gucci, as she accepted an award from the city of Rome Sunday, for her fashion talent.
The petite 34-year-old Rome-born designer, who succeeded Tom Ford as creative director of the high end fashion company in 2006, acknowledged having diet issues herself as a teenager, tipping the scale below 45 kilograms (99 pounds).
“Sins of youth,” she called them, in answer to a reporter’s question after the ceremony.
Rome-based designer Renato Balestra, who recently returned from a show in Washington D.C., says he has no time for super skinny models, reports AP.
“I never use bags of bones,” said Balestra, after his much applauded show Tuesday. However, he said he was against penalizing a model for her health.
According to Melandri, who also attended the Rome shows, the medical certificate was included to define the line between skinny and sickly.
“The idea is to recognize the boundary and not cross it,” Melandri told reporters at a news conference to introduce the Rome high fashion week.

Paris Hilton sues “ParisExposed” website…

Paris Hilton , exposed! Nudity sells, hell no.. sex sells!
Professional celebrity Paris Hilton is suing to close down the ParisExposed website for what her lawyers call “one of the most reprehensible invasions of privacy ever committed.”
The website emerged when its owners came in possession of a number of Hilton’s personal belongings after they were handed over by the owners of a storage company, who claim the heiress failed to pay her bills.
It is said to feature everything from the sordid (explicit videos and revealing diaries) to the banal (business contracts and medical records).
“This action seeks to enjoin perhaps one of the most single egregious and reprehensible invasions of privacy ever committed against an individual,” Hilton’s lawyers said, with the part-time fashion model adding, “I was appalled to learn that people are exploiting my and my sisters’ private personal belongings for commercial gain.”

Kate Moss definitely dropped by Rimmel?

Kate Moss and her junkie Pete DohertyIt seems that Kate Moss, 33, is on the brink of being dumped as face of make-up company Rimmel.
Not that the supermodel needs the money (she’s estimated to be worth over 30 million pounds!!) Official spokespeople have, however, expressed concern that the supermodel is ‘getting on a bit’. And that the company’s image may benefit from an injection of more youthful models.
The stunning model who celebrated her 33 birthday recently, has not yet been informed of the decision according to Brand Republic.
Moss has been the face of the UK cosmetic brand for five years with the most famous of the ads. being one in which Kate is applying make-up in the back seat of a London black cab on her way to a glitzy bash.
A source told the News Od The World , “Age catches up with everyone — even Kate. But she hasn’t been told anything by Rimmel. At 33, she’s getting on in terms of modelling. And she recently moaned about her face, saying she needed Botox.
“Rimmel is a range for the younger market so that worried them. Now bosses are looking for younger models who can give the brand a fresh approach. Girls have been contacted in secret.”
Kate, who is currently dating Babyshambles front man Pete Doherty, was snapped last year snorting cocaine- the pictures made front page of every newspaper. She was dropped by some fashion houses including Chanel, Burberry and H&M. Rimmel however stuck by the supermodel due to her embodiment of ‘London Cool’.
It is also rumoured that Kate is in talks over launching her own cosmetic range.
