Gisele Bundchen radiates beauty in the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar. Lucky for her home country of Brazil, Gisele has extended her voice to fight for women’s rights. In a recent interview about birth control laws and banning abortion, Gisele said:
If [a woman] thinks she doesn’t have the money or the emotional condition to raise a child, why should she give birth? It’s ridiculous to ban contraceptives — you only have to think of the diseases that are transmitted without them. I think it should be compulsory to use a contraceptive.
It pleases me tremendously to see a woman fighting for something, especially for woman’s rights, especially in Brazil.

Retired supermodel Tyra Banks insists that she does not relish booze or drugs, but just holds a wine glass because that makes her feel ‘sexy’.
The America’s Next Top Model hostess/judge revealed in a personal web posting that although wine tastes ‘nasty, to her, she orders it and keeps holding the glass to look ‘sexy’.
“So, every now and then I’ll order some wine at the table. I’ll only take two sips, but I’ll keep holding the glass cause it makes me feel sexy, but I still don’t drink it because it still tastes kind of nasty to me,” Hollywood Rag quoted Banks, as telling the website.
The 33-year-old recently learned various mixes with wine to make it taste better.
“I recently went to Napa, California, and I learned how to pair wines with certain tastes, how red wine tastes good with salt and bitter things like lemon,” she said.
With so many celebs entering rehab, one thing for Banks to feel ‘lucky’ about is that she does not have much liking for alcohol.
“I feel like I’ve been very lucky because I don’t really have an addictive personality. I’ve never had any drugs and I had a little taste of alcohol when I was 12-years-old, but that’s about it,” she said.
The model insisted that is a no alcohol girl’ or a ‘drug girl’.
“I’m not really an ‘alcohol girl’ and I’m definitely not a ‘drug girl’,” she added.

They are known for their wild partying lifestyle, but even Kate Moss and Pete Doherty sometimes have a quiet night in.
The couple were spotted at a DVD shop in Maida Vale where they rented five films.
Kate, 33, wearing her trademark denim hotpants, drove her Range Rover to the Channel 294 store in Elgin Avenue, which specialises in cult, classic and foreign films.
But their film choices must remain a secret -the DVDs had been taken out of their boxes and put between the shop’s own covers.
Unlike his sprightly-looking girlfriend, Pete, 28, had dark circles around his eyes and looked in need of a relaxing night in front of the TV.

Paris Hilton’s attorney has confirmed that the heiress has been “doing very well” during her first days in prison.
Paris surrendered herself to authorities around 10.30pm on Sunday evening and attorney Richard Hutton said yesterday that it was Paris’ idea to submit herself late on Sunday night rather than the predicted Monday morning: “Paris didn’t want to make a media circus out of the event. She just wanted to quietly start serving her time.”
After having her jail mugshot taken - still in full make-up and with styled hair from her earlier appearances at the MTV Movie Awards, she was given the short-sleeved orange jumpsuit she’ll wear for the duration of her stay and taken to her 12×8 cell for the first time around midnight. Prison officials described her as “co-operative, focused and calm” during the booking-in process.
Hutton added: “She’s doing very well under the circumstances. The staff here have reported that she has been gracious, polite, and thankful for helping her.”
“Her attitude is: ‘I’m going to come in here, I’m going to do my time, get it over with, and I’m going to show the world who I really am.’ She’s using this time to reflect on her life, to see what she can do to make the world better.”
Hutton confirmed that Paris has been placed in “administrative segregation” for her own safety but that really means “she’s in isolation for 23 of the 24 hours of the day. And ask yourself, for what? For driving on a suspended license as a probation violation. This is unjust, unfair, and she really is, unfortunately, a victim of a system that we pride so much on being fair.”
“But for Paris Hilton it is not. Finally, my client’s reaction to this has been fantastic. I’m very, very proud of her.”
