Paris and Britney shamed by Surveillance tapes

Paris Hilton, Britney Spears

Surveillance tapes implemented by the Humane Society of the United States have publicly humiliated Paris Hilton and Britney Spears’ poor choice in Pet Stores after the footage showed the ex-heiress and the train-wreck pop star buying pooches from tainted pet shop Pets of Bel Air, a prestige pet store accessed by a multitude of celebrity in order to purchase companions. However for the heirhead and her on-again-off-again pal Britney, the years of impulse pooch-buying have outraged animal rights organizations and enthusiasts, calling both girls “ridiculous” for not researching the stores they so frequently purchase from.

Puppy mills

The video in subject documents Pets of Bel Air’s three year long unlicensed practice and shameful business deal with puppy mills, in which thousands of dogs are housed in cramp conditions smelling of urine in order to continually birth puppies for profit to pet stores. Said to be role models for millions worldwide, spokespersons for a series of animal organizations have branded both girls to be “irresponsible pet owners” for their lack of loyalty to their purchases (both Hilton and Spears are known for impulse-puppy-purchases, replacing already owned dogs with newer versions each month) and for their ignorance towards securing the health and wellbeing of their animals.

All respective pet owners and potential pet owners should research the store they are considering a purchase from to make sure that the store does not do business with puppy mills. Mills like these provides thousands of puppies and kittens each year from neglected and sick parents and often have diseases of their own that flare up during their developing years. Please consider the welfare of these animals by boycotting puppy mills and buying only from respectable stores and breeders. Puppy mills will have no choice but to shut down their operations if people refuse to buy their animals and the future and safety of the animals in question will be of a more positive out-look.

To help boycott these large scale farm operations, visit the official STOP PUPPY MILLS website.

Campbell loses phone at Zeppelin gig

Naomi Campbell

Supermodel Naomi Campbell is furious following a Led Zeppelin gig on Monday night where her cell phone was reportedly stolen. Fuming at venue staff when realizing her BlackBerry was missing, Naomi, who had spent the night rocking out with pal and fellow Supermodel Kate Moss, reportedly shouted “They took my cell phone with all my numbers! What are you doing to do about it? Find them!” Sources reveal Campbell had later accused the Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl and his entourage of having a part in the cell phones theft.

A source tells Britain’s the Daily Mirror, “As soon as she realized her stuff was missing she started screaming and shouting and wildly pointing in the direction of where Grohl was sitting, screeching, ‘Have they got it? Have they got it?’”

Though Campbell’s spokeswoman has vehemently ‘played down’ the incident claiming “It was an massive inconvenience for Naomi, but she still enjoyed the show,” it was rocker Dave Grohl that had a little more insight into Campbell’s “piss and moan tantrum,” cheekily proclaiming, “Hey, at least she can’t throw it at anyone’s head now.”

Paris Hilton “phantom friends” save her from Versace party?

Paris Hilton

She may be an heiress and the Queen of the Social Scene, but Paris Hilton still doesn’t have much theatrical talent. Perhaps she should phone Miranda Kerr and apologize for her jealous rage, and ask Kerr’s buddy Eliska Sursova for some acting tips to stop her from landing in humiliating situations like this:

According to reports, Hilton attended a party at the Versace Mansion in Miami just days ago and caused quite a stir when she was busted having a fake conservation on her cell phone for most of the evening. FOX NEWS reports that Hilton “appeared not to know anybody” at the party and chose to simulate conversation on her cell-phone to “phantom friends”. The cell-phone reportedly began to beep at one point during Hilton’s so-called conversation, alerting those around her to the phony phone-call.

Top Model Outrage: Sources confirm Saleisha was not eligible for ANTM

Saleisha Cooper

The 19-year-old winner of America’s Next Top Model, Saleisha Cooper, may have entered and compete in the competition against ANTM eligibility rules. Diligent viewers have dug up footage of Saleisha, who has a previous relationship with judge Tyra Banks after attending her T-Zone camp at age 14, appearing in an episode of the Tyra Banks Show as a runway model as well as in an episode of ANTM Cycle 6 as a hired model to walk with the contestants in a show.

In accordance with Top Model rules, no entry should have any previous experience within the past 5 years, including print media, commercials and television as well as runway and fashion. In addition to Cooper’s working relationship with Banks and previous experience, the Top Model winner had also appeared in a nationally aired Wendy’s campaign.

Saleisha crowned America’s Next Top Model

Saleisha Cooper

Saleisha Cooper has done it. The 19 year old receptionist from Los Angeles has strut her stuff all the way to the finale, beating out barbie-esque Chantal for the Top Model position. The newly crowned CoverGirl has stomped away with a $100,000 contract with Elite Model Management and a promise of a Seventeen Magazine cover and spread.

“I fought for this so hard, and I’m so determined, and I have it now, and I’m not letting it slip out,” Saleisha proclaimed after learning of her victory. “I wanted it so bad, and I got it, and I’m never letting it go!”

In other Top Model news, the series has been renewed through the 2009-10 season.
