Model Petra Nemcova blows a kiss to her fans at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS 2008 benefit held at Le Moulin de Mougins during the 2008 International Cannes Film Festival on Thursday in Mougins, France.
Despite a reported diminished party scene at the Cannes Film Festival, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen hosted a popular yacht party for a select few. Petra, 28, was in attendance along with George Lucas, Sean Penn and Brad Pitt. Nice of Brad to stop by given that he and Angie are starting at his Cap Ferrat estate for a few weeks!
Sean Penn and Petra showed up as a couple to an event back in February.

“It’s all about the computer these days. People might look at a picture of me and say, “Wow, I wish I had her body”, but they should realise that I often look at a picture of myself and say, “Wow, I wish I had my body,” said Coco Rocha in a recent interview with the Telegraph.
The Canadian-born model, best known for opening and closing Jean Paul Gaultier’s autumn/winter 2007 show with an Irish jig (video below the cut), also told the British newspaper that when she was first discovered at 14, she didn’t even know who Naomi Campbell was.

A 19-year-old Namibian girl has been named the “next big spokesmodel” for the Victoria’s Secret ‘Pink’ line. Behati Prinsloo was discovered 3 years ago while she was on vacation in Cape Town.
Prinsloo walked in the 2007 Victoria’s Secret fashion show. She has also done adds for Chanel, H&M, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Aquascutum and Nini Ricci.

Agyness Deyn, the model who is so cool she has two Ys in her ultra-cool name, now has a mannequin cast in her image. The honor was bestowed upon Deyn by Rootstein Mannequins, a company that’s been in the business of skinny synthetic people for nearly 50 years.
But don’t think the folks at Rootstein are late to the party. According to Deyn, the company’s creative director, Kevin Arpino, approached her back in 2003 about joining the ranks of Twiggy, Joan Collins, Pat Cleveland, and Erin O’Connor, who’ve all been sculpted themselves (it’s the fashion version of a wax figurine at Madame Tussauds!). The mannequin was unveiled last night at a tres hip party in Chelsea.
For his part, Arpino says he chose Deyn because she “embodies the look of the first decade of this century.” At the model’s request, Arpino has promised to send her mother a set of three mannequins of her very own. Unfortunately, Deyn missed the party in her honor because she was shooting with photographer Mario Testino on Long Island, laying to rest rumors that the shutterbug dumped her from the Burberry campaign because she was “overexposed.”

Think supermodel Gisele Bundchen’s life is mostly wearing fab clothes, jetting to exotic locales and being adored by hot guys like her football-stud beau, Tom Brady? Well, it is, reports Star. But the Brazilian bombshell, 27, is sweet enough to play down her impossibly glamorous existence - not to mention the fact that, with her $35 million in income last year, she’s the world’s richest catwalker!
Gisele is the most super of all models, with the highest income in the biz and a hunky NFL quarterback Tom Brady of the New England Patriots as her main beau. But she claims her life is “boring”! She tells Star Magazine, “I’m a workaholic, so I get up at 8 a.m. and I go to bed late. I don’t really do anything. I don’t go to clubs (and) I don’t do drugs. Sometimes, I feel like a nun or something.”
But what about the reports of a wedding with Brady and are the pair planning a family? The supermodel tells Star Magazine, “Of course, one day I’m going to marry and start a family. But I don’t know exactly when that will be. I’m only 27, and I’m so busy now.” There were reports earlier that there would be an off-season wedding, but they had better hurry if that is the case.
Star also asked the sexy model, “What do you think is your best body part?’ While the best guess is that fans might says something else she answered, “My heart…maybe.” She also revealed that she wouldn’t use plastic surgery even as she gets older and cites her gorgeous mother as a guide. She said in the interview, “Actually, I asked my mother the very same question and she said, “It’s taken me 58 years to look like this. You think I’m going to ruin it now?” She looks great, so I hope I will look the same.”

Paris Hilton attends the In Touch Weekly Summer Stars Party at the Social Hollywood Club on Thursday in Los Angeles.
Earlier in the day, the 27-year-old hotel heiress started to tape her new reality TV show, Paris Hilton’s My New Best Friend. And she just blogged about it:
“Hey everyone! I am so excited, we have finally started taping my new show for MTV. I just want to thank you all for sending in your videos and applications. The response was massive and incredible, we had more applicants then any show in history, so that felt really nice that so many people wanted to be apart of it. I met all the contestants on Wednesday night. I had them all meet me at the club Les Deux. I was a little nervous at first cause I always get shy meeting new people. But everyone ended up being very sweet, cool and fun to be around. I’m really happy with the final contestants, although it was really hard to pick only 18 people from so many great choices. Today I had the team from Fred Segal Beauty come do makeovers on these girls and boys and the results were astonishing. They all looked stunning and beautiful and hot! So much fun! I love doing make overs on my friends .I have to do an elimination tomorrow, meaning telling one of the contestants that they have to leave. I am having anxiety and really dreading those moments of all the eliminations. But it’s going to be a lot of fun and a these people will get to have a fun experience and I’m happy cause I feel like I’ve made friends with some of these people already.
