Agyness Deyn’s romance with The Stroke’s guitarist Albert Hammond Jr., appears to be heating up.
In scenes which will no doubt come as a blow to former boyfriend, The Paddington’s rocker Josh Hubbard just two weeks ago, Agyness cosied up to Hammond on a bench in front of the Bowery Hotel in New York City.
Model du jour Agyness, 25, was dressed in a short striped minidress, and scuffed boots as she sat close to Albert, chatting on her mobile and showing him messages on her Blackberry mobile.
Last week Agyness tidied up her signature messy student look to accompany the Strokes guitarist to the Songwriter Hall Of Fame Awards in New York, where his father was being presented with an award.
The pair were inseparable for the whole evening and left the event holding hands.
But when asked by a reporter how the pair met, a coy Deyn replied: ‘That’s a bit personal, sorry.’
Agyness first let it slip that she was seeing someone new in an appearance on Channel 4 show The Nokia Green Room.
A source on the show said Agyness was raving about her new guitarist beau after the cameras had stopped rolling. The source told The Sun: ‘Agyness’s eyes lit up when she spoke about Albert.
‘Our production team guessed it was Hammond when she mentioned The Strokes in another conversation.
‘She’s normally very laid back but I don’t think she was too happy with her bandmate for landing her in it during filming. She knew she had been busted.’
As well as finding a new boyfriend in record time, Agyness has recently turned her attentions to the world of music.
The 25-year-old has collaborated on a music project with friends the Five O’Clock Heroes and has performed a number of gigs of late including an appearance on the Sunday Night Project for Channel Four.
Meanwhile, Hammond has announced a one-off show in Los Angeles to support his forthcoming album.
The Strokes guitarist will perform at Spaceland on July 11, debuting tracks from his second solo album ‘Como te Llama?’ which is due out in the US July 8.
Hammond is expected to announce additional summer tour dates throughout the US in the coming weeks.

While earning a supermodel tag is an achievement for most catwalk beauties, Miranda Kerr finds it ‘funny’. Kerr, who is baring all for Men’s Style Magazine, believes the supermodel status given to her is just exaggerated.
“I don’t know. That’s what they’re calling me but I don’t really consider myself a supermodel,” The Daily Telegraph quoted her, as telling the magazine. “I mean, what is a supermodel? Is it like a superhero? I think it’s funny. I don’t take myself too seriously. I just go along with it,” she added.
Best known as one of the Victoria’s Secret Angels, Kerr also revealed that she can’t see what is all the fuss about her boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom. “He’s just a guy. He happens to be an actor,” Kerr said.

Paris sets the record straight regarding the rumored double wedding.
It seems as though after Nicole Richie and Joel Madden’s daughter, Harlow, was born, rumors have been tumbling in regarding a joint ceremony with Paris Hilton and Benji Madden. Although Paris has admitted in the past that she would love to start a family with her man, Benji, and eventually take it to the next level, she has dismissed reports, claiming that all the rumors are untrue.
“I’ve been hearing that rumor. But no, I think we both would want to have separate weddings,” Paris said in an interview with the Los Angeles DJ, Ryan Seacrest.
However, the foursome is excited for more time together and are about to be heading on the road for the highly-anticipated Good Charlotte tour.
“It’s weird . . . we’re dating twins but it’s pretty perfect. We are all going on tour this summer, so I’m really excited about that,” the hotel heiress adds, according to The Province. However, there will most definitely not be a double wedding for the pairs. Maybe best friends don’t share everything after all. . .

Brazilian Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is baffled by the lengths people will go to to try and prove her good looks are manufactured – insisting her flawless figure is all natural.
The 27-year-old model was hailed by Forbes magazine as the highest paid in her profession – raking in $33 million (?16.5 million) in 2007 and $38 million (?19 million) in this year (08) alone (08).
And Bundchen, who has graced the covers of more magazines than any other supermodel and is the face of over 20 brands internationally, admits she’s tired of skeptics convinced her looks have been altered to achieve such perfection.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell failed to turn up as scheduled at a runway show in Brazil on Saturday, apparently after her plans were upset by a conviction the day before for assaulting police officers at Heathrow airport in April.
Campbell, 38, had been scheduled to appear on the catwalk at the Sao Paulo Fashion Show for the summer 2009 swimsuit collection by the Rio label Rosa Cha, according to Globo.com, Terra and other Brazilian media.
But her sentencing on Friday in London to 200 hours of community service and more than 5,600 dollars in fines and compensation seemed to torpedo that modeling assignment.
The British celebrity had admitted in court to kicking and spitting at the officers in a foul-mouthed tantrum as they tried to eject her from a British Airways flight following a row over lost luggage.
Campbell is a regular visitor to Brazil, flying in every couple of months.
Several media in Brazil and Britain have reported that she is involved in a relationship with a Brazilian billionaire, Marcus Elias. The two were photographed kissing while swimming in the Mediterranean last month.
