TOP Italian fashion label Gucci can’t get enough of Australia’s Abbey-Lee Kershaw.
Caught on the catwalk at the label’s resort collection and 70th anniversary show in Rome this week, Kershaw has strutted straight into shooting the new Gucci Resort campaign, reports Fashion Editor Jen Melocco.
The luxury label, which secured the one-time Bondi babe exclusively at the winter shows in February, are not the only influential Italians in love with Kershaw and her gal pals from Sydney’s Chic Models, Catherine McNeil and Sarah Stephens.
The bevy of beauties are taking out Italian Vogue’s October issue front to back, with top photographers snapping a 20-page shoot of Kershaw for the mag.
Model wannabes hoping to follow in their stiletto-strapped footsteps should head to the Girlfriend Model Search at Westfield Liverpool on Saturday, from 9am to 1.30pm.

Mary-Kate Olsen has been spending a lot of time with high-fashion model Jessica Stam, and apparently the Canadian-born blonde has been a positive influence on the once-troubled twin’s road to a full recovery from years of weight and health woes.
Olsen spent the Fourth of July with Stam in the Hamptons and after happily chowing down at the model’s private barbecue, the BFFs headed over to another private grill-out at the Estate in Sag Harbor just before midnight.
Dressed in a long black sweater and high heels, we’re told a healthy and glowing Olsen was actually laughing (big surprise) and was a total social butterfly as she happily floated around with Stam and her girlfriends from NYU.
Interestingly, Olsen chose not to associate with the male party peeps.
“I’ve never seen her [Mary-Kate] in such good spirits, and she didn’t look anything like her old emaciated self,” an eyewitness told Pop Tarts, adding that the “Weeds” actress refused even a drop of alcohol. She reportedly stuck totally to Snapple antioxidant water, which is believed to be another positive influence that the health-conscious Stam has had on her famous friend.
But despite MK’s new perky persona, some things will never change — she refused to be photographed and wouldn’t even let a digital camera get near her.

At the age of 20, Lily Cole is making her first foray into the dating scene.
But she has kept her suitors guessing after going out with two of Britain’s most colourful bachelors.
The supermodel has clearly rejected youth over experience after recently stepping out with both actor Jude Law, 35, and ageing rocker Bryan Ferry, 62.
But the flame-haired beauty is in no rush to pick one over the other after going on a series of dates.
She and Ferry enthusiastically joined in a charity karaoke event at jazz club Ronnie Scott’s last month singing the duet Let’s Stick Together.
The pair then left separately and reunited for dinner with two other friends at Cipriani restaurant in Mayfair.
An onlooker said: ‘They were deep in conversation with each other – the other two didn’t say a word. She was following his every word like a lovesick puppy.
‘They left the restaurant separately but met up one street away before getting into separate cars headed for Claridge’s hotel.’
Miss Cole and her girlfriend were nowhere to be seen until 6am the following morning.
Meanwhile the model has had two outings with actor and father-of-four Law in the past two weeks.
They went to a Radiohead concert and then, a week later, the pair met for a more sedate dinner and theatre date in Covent Garden.
The 5ft 10 model was seen leaving Law’s Maida Vale home, bare-legged and dishevelled, last Saturday after staying the night.
The academic beauty, the face of M&S and Accessorize, is due to start at Cambridge University in October and has had a low-key lovelife until now.
Ferry is a father of four sons – his eldest, Otis, is five years older than Miss Cole.

Police are investigating the alleged rape of a model who believes her drink was spiked at a Park Lane nightclub popular with young royals.
The 18-year-old says she felt dizzy and disorientated and was led down to the cellar area of the Whisky Mist club at the Hilton Hotel where the attack took place.
She claims a 23-year-old man she had met previously at the club gave her the Rohypnolstyle ‘date rape’ drug before sexually assaulting her.
She went to the police the next day and the man was arrested later that day by officers from Westminster’s Operation Sapphire unit which specialises in rape cases. He was bailed to return later this month pending further enquiries.
The model, who is a regular at top designers’ shows in London, New York, Milan and Paris, said the alleged rape happened when she went to the club last Wednesday evening.
A close friend said: ‘She was having a drink at the bar and enjoying herself. She was also given a drink by the guy she says went on to rape her. Then she suddenly felt dizzy and disorientated.

CCTV has been taken from Whisky Mist, which only opened a month ago.
Last night, a club worker said: ‘The police investigation could be really damaging to the reputation of the club. We are co-operating fully.’
A spokeswoman for Whisky Mist said today: ‘The matter is being investigated and we cannot comment any further at this time.’
Whisky Mist, owned by the people behind Mahiki, another popular royal haunt, already boasts Prince Harry, girlfriend Chelsy Davy and Princess Beatrice as regulars.
Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton was photographed leaving the club after the Nelson Mandela 90th birthday concert 12 days ago.
Other celebrities spotted at Whisky Mist include Guy Ritchie and US singer Kid Rock, who cancelled his appearance at the Download Festival last month after he allegedly attended a late-night event at the bar.

Make Me Heal has long held the opinion that German model Heidi Klum’s good looks aren’t all natural. But now that Heidi is speaking out against plastic surgery, Make Me Heal is calling her bluff.
Heidi Klum is pulling a move and has come out blasting plastic surgery, saying “There’s something odd when you’re 35 or 40 and ironed to the max. You change with time, and it’s fine. Everywhere there are these stand-up cards saying, ‘Have a little silicone while you get your roots done.’ I want to be the opposite of that.”
The only problem with Heidi jumping on this soap box is that she had plastic surgery. Make Me Heal previously commented about Heidi Klum’s breast implants, which have boosted her from a former B to a C cup (read the full story about Heidi Klum’s breast implants). The implants are subtle, which has not resulted in her breasts looking natural. Breast implants among supermodels is not uncommon, as Giselle Bundchen, Selita Ebanks, and other models have also gotten breast augmentations during their careers.
Heidi has also been rumored have had a nose job in the very early stages of her modeling career.
There seems to be a trend recently with models speaking out against plastic surgery, despite the fact that they quietly had gone under the knife previously. Only weeks earlier, Giselle Bundchen, who is the proud owner of breast implants, made a similar hypocritical statement.
Heidi’s plastic surgery lie aside, she looks amazing for being a mother and Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing her when the “Project Runway” reality show returns later this summer.
