Kate Moss splashed out on new carpets to please her boyfriend Jamie Hince - just weeks before he moved out of her home.
The supermodel parted with $40,000 for deep pile snow carpets after Hince complained that the rush matting at her home was irritating his sensitive feet. Friends of the couple had joked that Jamie was “allergic to Kate’s house”.
A source told The Mirror: “Jamie loved the new look and was really touched by her efforts. But, sadly, that didn’t stop him from packing his bags and leaving a few weeks later. Let’s just say that after spending all the money, Kate wasn’t thrilled by the sudden turn of events.
“Both of them are hoping for a reconciliation, though, and Kate is obviously keen to get value for money from the new carpets!”
Hince is currently on tour with his Kills bandmate Alison Mosshart following constant rows with Kate. Meanwhile, Moss is on holiday in Sardinia with her close pal Davinia Taylor.

We have always been of the opinion that jeweler David Yurman’s designs don’t quite live up to his gorgeous advertising campaigns. It’s almost as though his own creative team senses this, as the ads seem designed to downplay the ostentatiousness of most of the jewelry, with its two-tone metals, gauche gemstones and clunky styling.
The pictures by contrast are simple, elegant and stunning: some of the world’s most beautiful women shot in classic black-and-white by famed photographer Peter Lindbergh. Kate Moss has appeared more than once, and is back for the glamorous new fall campaign, pictured here. Other subjects have included Daria Werbowy, Naomi Watts, Amber Valletta and Natalia Vodianova. No-one could make the baubles look better than that all-star lineup.

Gossip columns have been reporting that Australian model Miranda Kerr has split with her movie star boyfriend Orlando Bloom, however, the rumors are not true according to her family.
A story on the website of U.S. tabloid magazine In Touch states an ‘insider’ as saying the relationship is over and “that she has rebounded into the arms of her former flame, oil heir Brandon Davis.”
The article also claims that Kerr and Davis, “were spotted canoodling at two clubs in NYC” and were “full on making out. They didn’t seem to care who saw.”
A rep for the Victoria’s Secret model denies the split along with her brother Matthew, who was there when Kerr saw Davis at the club.
“We were just out with a few other friends from Australia having a good time and we bumped into Brandon while we were at 10ak,” Matthew explained. They have been friends for a while and we just said hi, chatted for a bit and that was it.”
He adds, “There definitely wasn’t any kissing - nothing could be further from the truth.”
Kerr’s mother has even made a comment on the rumors about her daughter telling News.com.au, “I realise there is an interest in people who are in the spotlight, but I just can’t believe how far from the truth it gets.
“Miranda and Orlando have never been closer and are happier right now more so than ever.”

Diesel, a synonym for street wear, held a fashion show at Miami’s Raleigh Hotel, showing what will be worn on beaches and swimming pools next year. May Anderson, a model for Victoria’s Secret, and rapper Teyana Taylor stirred up passions when then turned up on the catwalk in their bikinis.
The brand which was born 20 years ago is today one of the leading designer companies, a producer of jeans, casual outfits and accessories. Since its establishment, Renzo Rosso surrounded himself with creative, talented people, designers who insisted on innovations, dismissing the typical trends of the fashion industry. Renzo gave the new designers freedom of style so they can create a line for buyers who celebrate their own independence with their dress style, both in the street an on the beach.

Kate Moss has vowed never to give up smoking.
The supermodel reckons cigarettes help to keep her calm.
‘I won’t be quitting the fags because it’s who I am,’ she tells the Daily Mirror. ‘I don’t want to create a phony facade.
‘I think I just have to be myself, otherwise, I’d be a paranoid mess.’
And Kate, 34, insists she won’t be getting any Botox because she’d be ‘embarrassed’ if she couldn’t frown.

Model Kate Moss wants to replace being a model with being a full-time designer, as she feels her mind has outgrown the catwalk, WENN reports.
Moss, who began modeling at the ripe young age of 14 – when she was discovered by an agency in the UK – feels it’s time for something new. After all, at the age of 34, she has spent 20 years in the industry, and now feels it has started to limit her.
The model has gotten into business and designing in recent years and wants to prove herself as a capable force, with a line at Britain’s TopShop.
“All that dressing up makes me say, ‘What do I want to wear? What do I want to do with (my retail line at) TopShop?’ It all kind of leads into the other things.”
With her mind focusing on other things, Moss has also called modeling “brain damaging.”
