The richest Australian entertainers

The Wiggles have topped the BRW list of Australia’s highest-earning entertainers, while supermodel Miranda Kerr has proved to be more worthy than former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins.
The quartet of children’s entertainers collected $45 million for 2007-08, according to BRW’s Top 50 Entertainers list, and it is the fourth year in succession The Wiggles has finished in the No.1 slot.
The Wiggles have earned $240 million in the past 12 years on videos, merchandising and concert performances.
Actors accounted for 17 of the top 50 slots in the list, with Russell Crowe (third) the highest earner on $36 million. Singer Kylie Minogue was secod on the list with $40 million.
Kerr ($3.6 million, 25th), model for retail outlet David Jones, was surprisingly ahead of model and TV presenter Jennifer Hawkins ($3.3 million, 27th).
