Agyness Deyn is rumoured to be the running to become the new Doctor Who assistant.
The supermodel could soon be ditching modelling for the coveted sidekick role, alongside new Doctor Who Matt Smith.
Fashion icon Deyn, along with Lily Allen, Kelly Brook and Rachel Stevens are all reportedly being considered for the part, although nothing has been confirmed.
Allen was apparently in the running for landing the role a few years ago, and reports on Monday suggested she was being considered once again.
Executive producer, Piers Wenger, has revealed he wants someone who can replicate the success of Billie Piper’s character, Rose.
He said: “Someone terribly exciting like Billie, who was at the beginning of her acting career but who had a profile for other reasons, would be great. We are looking for someone whose light can burn brightly,” reports Marie Claire.
Now the new Doctor has finally been announced, the hunt it seems is officially on for a stylish and chic new assistant, and who better for that role than the fashionable Ms Deyn?!

Though she loves “Hannah Montana,” Cindy Crawford bans her daughter from watching it because it teaches her “to be sassy.”
Supermodel Cindy Crawford openly reveals she has banned her daughter, Kaya Jordan Gerber, from watching “Hannah Montana,” claiming the hit TV series to have taught the 7-year-old girl “to be sassy.” About that she explains, “I love Hannah Montana, but she (daughter) learns to be sassy from that show. I’ll say to her, ‘I don’t let anyone talk to me like that. I’ll certainly not take it from a seven year old in my own house.’”
Disney’s “Hannah Montana” is a musical sitcom series which is famous among teenagers. It stars Miley Cyrus as the main character who lives a double life as an average teenage school girl named Miley Stewart by day and a famous pop singer named Hannah Montana by night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.
Aside from her modeling career, Cindy Crawford is a mother of two children; son Presley Walker Gerber and daughter Kaya Jordan Gerber, both of whom she has with her club owner husband Rande Gerber. Before marrying Rande, she was married to actor Richard Gere from 1991 to 1995.
Opening up about her early modeling career, Cindy admitted she used to be bullied at school by classmates who were jealous of her skyrocketing career. “I was introduced to the local photographer who took some cheesy test shots of me. Some girls at school found out, called me and said they were from a local store in our town, saying they wanted me to model for them. I showed up for the interview, and the woman there said she knew nothing about it,” so she recalled. “I was so humiliated and I walked out and saw four girls from high school pointing and laughing.”

Supermodel Kate Moss was said to have flashed her breast as she took a break in Thailand with guitarist beau Jamie Hince. The supermodel, amongst the highest paid in the world, had been photographed with the wardrobe malfunction as she donned a loose-fitting beige dress.
The catwalk queen also raised eyebrows after being spotted with ‘a baby belly’ as she felt the sand beneath her feet, reports Fox News. The Brit eye catcher had trashed pregnancy claims in December.
Moss, famous for her skinny physique in the fashion world, reportedly had had a busy last year and was letting her nerves unwind in Phuket.
