Brazilian model, Gisele Bundchen sacked herself a quarterback
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady are getting married. New England Patriots quarterback, Tom Brady, 31, popped the question by presenting Bundchen, 28, with a diamond solitaire ring.
The news follows rumors of a proposal in which Brady supposedly popped the question aboard a private plane filled with roses on Christmas Eve. The story, first reported by TMZ, has led to speculation over the past three weeks. The story has become true as the couple has let friends and family know the engagement is official.
Wedding plans are in the works and current word is that Bundchen is deciding between a larger, elaborate event, or a small, intimate gathering in Costa Rica.
As a married couple, Brady and Bundchen will head to the top of Forbes list of power couples. Bundchen is the highest paid model and earns four times that of Brady’s salary. Together they’re annual income is more than $45 million. That number puts them in the top five of highest earning couples.
This will be the first wedding for both Bundchen and Brady. But each has had high-profile relationships. Brady has a son with actress Bridget Moynahan. Bundchen had a long on again-off again with actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
