Kate Moss suffers fashion faux pas after bursting out of her ultra tight dress
Perhaps it was David Walliams’ sidesplitting quips or one too many canapes, but whatever the reason Kate Moss was left red faced after bursting out of her super tight dress last night.
The 35-year-old model’s space-age confection – designed by Balmain and costing well into four figures – ripped at the seam as her long night of partying came to an end.
She was with a boyfriend Jamie Hince and a large group of celebrities at Movida in Soho, where they celebrated the birthday of her friend Fran Cutler.
They were also joined by the Little Britain comic, hellraisers Rhys Ifans and Noel Fielding and Sir Philip Green’s daughter Chloe.
An onlooker said: ‘Kate was drinking bottles of Pandor absinthe with Noel Fielding and Rhys Ifans.
‘As you can imagine, things got quite messy. All three of them were dancing on the sofas, but Kate couldn’t resist taking things one step further and started dancing on the bar.
‘Everyone was cheering her on, and she was loving it.’
Fran and Kate lived up to their party girl reputations, being the last celebs to leave the club, just after 4am today.
Earlier in the evening Kate celebrated the launch of the new White Light diamond, designed by her friend Shaun Leane.
As guest of honour, Kate was chaperoned by Shaun at the Altitude venue in Westminster.
In between sipping champagne and munching on canapés, Shaun kept Kate humoured with some private in jokes.
The firm friends were spotted pulling faces and bursting into laughter by bemused partygoers.
Shaun’s White Light creation includes 18 ct white gold and diamond collets and was made for the Forevermark diamond company.
As well as creating his own jewellery, Shaun has also worked with Alexander McQueen, Daphne Guinness, Sam Taylor-Wood and Sarah Jessica Parker.
As well as Kate, he counts Jennifer Lopez, Sir Elton John, Cameron Diaz, Gwen Stefani and Bjork amongst his famous clients.
Also at Wednesday night’s party were comedian David Walliams, model Erin O’Connor, designer Savannah Miller and Pam Hogg.
Meanwhile, Kate has been named as face of fashion of the Nineties in a poll by the Clothes Show.
While Kate’s famous features secured her last decade, Madonna ruled the Eighties and Blondie star Debbie Harry was top in the Seventies.
