With the help of a stylist, designer dress and make-up artist Gisele Bundchen was bound to look stunning.
But there’s a reason why she’s a supermodel – as she proved hours later rushing through the rain, loaded down with a dog and her shopping bags.
The 28-year-old Victoria’s Secret ‘Angel’ made her off-duty uniform of a trilby, jeans, boots and sheer jumper look catwalk ready.
With her blonde hair flowing down her back and her long legs striding forward her casual outfit could not disguise her perfect figure.
The night before she showed it off in an unforgiving, satin backless dress at the Rainforest Alliance Gala at The Museum of Natural History in New York.
The Brazillian newlywed also showed off her sparkling wedding ring as she posed for photographers.
She tied the knot with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, 31, in a private ceremony in Santa Monica California in February. The couple then said their vows all over again before close friends in Costa Rica.

Gisele was hosting the event for the Rain Forest Alliance, an organisation that promotes ecological conservation.
By wearing the sleek dress Gisele also put paid to reports that she is pregnant with her first child.
Gisele and Tom sparked rumours they were expecting a child after being seen leaving the office of a OB/GYN last on Monday.
The couple just got married in a private ceremony three months ago, and Giselle, who is step-mother to Tom’s 18-month-old son John who he had with his ex Bridget Moynahan, has spoken of her desire to start a family.
When asked about the pregnacy rumours, the model’s spokesperson had responded: ‘We have no comment on our clients’ personal lives.’

The Kills guitarist Jamie Hince sparked an alert when he went walkabout in the middle of the band’s tour.
His bandmate Alison Mosshart was so concerned she posted a Facebook message urging anyone who saw him to get in touch.
Hince, the 40-year-old boyfriend of Kate Moss, disappeared after a gig in the Canadian city of Montreal on Wednesday night, during The Kills’ North American leg of their world tour.
He was due back on stage in Toronto last night and given statements of congratulations of the band’s MySpace page, Hince made it in time for the gig at the Phoenix Concert Theatre.
One Canadian fan named Melody, who saw the group last night, wrote: ‘You guys rocked my world last night… thank you, thank you.
Another attendee called ‘Lady Stardust’ wrote: ‘Just home from the Phoenix in Toronto and wanted to say thanks for the great gig. Again. And loved your cover of Put a Spell on You.’
Two days earlier Hince had a scuffle with a fan during a show in New York, the Sun has reported.
A witness said the man had been flashing V signs in the front row and Hince hauled him up on stage and threw him against the speaker stack before hurling him back into the crowd.
Earlier this week the model snubbed The Kills’ Manhattan concert on Sunday night, flying in afterwards to attend the Metropolitan Museum of Art gala on Monday.
While Kate was mixing with A-list pals Stella McCartney and Kate Hudson, Jamie was playing across the Hudson River at a Brooklyn club.
Jamie reportedly begged Kate to arrive in New York early to catch his Sunday gig, but she was spending the weekend with retail tycoon Philip Green in Monaco.
A friend told the Mirror: ‘Jamie was gutted. He’s been on the road for a month and really wants to see Kate.
‘His band had a gig at the Webster Hall on Friday and he’d asked Kate to come to it because she was going to be in New York on Monday anyway.
‘But she didn’t want to make time to see him and went on Philip Green’s yacht instead.’
Since The Kills kicked off their world tour in March, Kate and Jamie have barely seen each other.
Jetting back to London this week, Kate enjoyed a night out in Notting Hill with long-time friend Bobby Gillespie of Primal Scream.
The 35-year-old supermodel is close friends with the rocker and his wife Katy and read a poem at their country wedding three years ago.
