Daring Lily Cole and Daisy Lowe ensure even the winter months will be hot in new Pirelli calendar
These behind-the-scenes shots of an array of models going topless for the new Pirelli calendar are sure to set pulses racing all year round.
And flying the flag for Britain in the annual risque photoshoot were Brit ingenues Lily Cole and Daisy Lowe.
The pair joined a raft of other beauties from across the globe, including Australian model Miranda Kerr, who were all dared to shed their inhibitions for the 2010 edition.
In one pose, Lily lies topless in a shallow pool, wrapping her arms seductively around her body.
Then in another the Cambridge University student gets to grips with nature by hugging what appears to be a sloth to her naked bosom.
Daisy is no shrinking violet either, whipping her top off to pose in a line-up with the other models alongside photographer Terry Richardson.
The 20-year-old, who used to date DJ Mark Ronson, is said to be hoping the shoot in Bahia, Brazil, will help increase her profile.
Brunette Daisy would like to follow in the footsteps of actress Sienna Miller, who shot to fame after appearing in the 2003 Pirelli calendar.
‘Daisy thinks that her mum [designer Pearl Lowe] will be impressed with this risqué shoot,’ a source told the Daily Mail.
‘She can’t wait for it to come out. She hopes it will lead to offers of acting and big-money modelling deals.’
Other models who took part included Brazilian models Ana Beatriz Barros and Gracie Carvalho, Australian Catherine McNeil and Serbian Georgina Stojiljkovic.
The Pirelli calender is famous for its limited availability. It is not sold and is only given as a corporate gift to a restricted number of important Pirelli customers and celebrity VIPs.
