Karolina Kurkova is expecting a boy.
The 25 year old Czech supermodel, who is expecting her first child with her filmmaker fiance Archie Drury, is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to meet her new arrival.
The Victoria’s Secret model explained: “The whole experience of having a baby inside of you that’s growing is amazing. I start feeling the kicks now and feel the baby.”
Karolina added she and Archie already have a name in mind, but want to keep tight lipped until their son is born.
She told America’s OK magazine: “There’s one that the baby really likes. It’s really funny, I think he might have decided his name. I don’t want to say it, but he knows his name because the baby responds when I talk about that name.”
Models Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bundchen are all also pregnant at the moment, and Karolina – who can soon be seen starring as Courtney A. Kreiger, an army recruit also known as Cover Girl, in new movie ‘G.I.Joe: The Rise of the Cobra’ – believes the quartet are sending out a positive message to the fashion industry.
She explained: “It’s a nice message for the fashion industry, a nice thing showing that we are real women and we are normal and healthy and that’s why we can get pregnant. And we’re growing up. We’re not 17 or 18. We’re becoming women and becoming moms.”
Karolina added she and Archie are yet to make wedding plans, instead focusing on their unborn baby.
However, is Archie’s proposal is anything to go by it could take the couple some time to finalise arrangements.
He explained: “We were in Cape Town on Table Top Mountain in South Africa and I hid the ring in my sock.
“She’s afraid of heights, so I had to get her up the mountain and it nearly fell out of my sock. Then she didn’t answer me. She made me ask her four times because she was so nervous! But she said yes.”

After receiving a prestigious Emmy nomination Heidi Klum could have been expected to break out the champagne.
Instead she celebrated the honour with a trip to the park – accompanied by her three young children and mother Erna.
The supermodel is spending as much time as possible bonding with her children before the demanding arrival of her fourth child, thought to be a daughter, in the autumn.
Yesterday Heidi hid her growing bump with a fashionably loose jersey smock, teamed with leggings and sandals, as she pushed five-year-old daughter Leni on the swings.
The 36-year-old then scooped Leni up for a big hug, while Johan, two, and Henry, three, played nearby.
Earlier they had celebrated her Emmy nomination, for her work as host of Project Runway, with a dinner at Cipriani in New York’s Tribeca.

Sophie Anderton revealed a nasty-looking black eye as she headed out to buy painkillers yesterday.
Sophie, 32, was spotted three days after police were called to break up a fight with her ex-boyfriend Ed Buxton.
The property developer, also 32, was later arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed until September.
Yesterday downcast Sophie also showed a bruised black thumb as she clutched a pack of Anadin.
She has been laying low since receiving her injuries, after being forced to cancel modelling bookings.
A friend told MailOnline she had met up with Buxton ‘as friends’, but their reunion led to a confrontation as he drove her back to her Fulham home in his car.
‘He would like it to be a lot more than she would,’ added the friend.
At the time of the split in November Sophie was said to be ‘in a very bad state’.
But, having survived a highly publicised battle with drug addiction, a positive Sophie had recently spoken of beating her demons, saying she had put on a stone as a result of eating regular meals.
‘I survived for days on coffee and Red Bull,’ she said. ‘No wonder I got skinny!
‘My addiction and constant partying had a terrible effect on my body – I was just so unhealthy. But now I’m feeling good.’
The troubled model also found herself at the centre of a tabloid newspaper sting in 2007 when she was exposed as an escort girl.
The scandal saw her profile and earnings plummet.
She later claimed she was duped into working as an escort girl.
