Everyone’s favorite supermodel-America’s Next Top Model judge-talk show host extraordinaire, Tyra Banks, was recently spotted at the Dashing Diva nail salon on Third Ave. & 16th St. in New York City! Dashing Diva, the world’s first nail spa and boutique, is dedicated to providing high quality nail care products and services around the world, at an affordable price. In addition to the unique and quality experience provided at their salon, Dashing Diva also has a brand new line of polish colors, the Manhattan Collection. Tyra’s favorite is Heiress (a sheer, glossy pink), but there are over 100 shades to choose from. We particularly like the location-inspired colors, like West Village, Harlem Nights, and Hudson River View.

Supermodel Naomi Campbell’s first Bollywood venture “Karma, Confessions and Holi” bombed badly at the box office.
Critics and others described it as, “lacks everything a good movie consists of”, “undignified”, “disaster”, “unholy mix”, “unholy mess”, “torture”, etc.
Filmed in New York and Princeton (New Jersey), this 110 minutes drama about a couple living in New York, directed by Manish Gupta (Indian Fish in American Waters), and co-produced by Robert De Niro’s daughter Drena De Niro (The Lovebirds), also starred Sticky Fingas, Vincent Curatola, Lisa Branch, Claire Fricke, Jamieson Rhyme, etc. Campbell played the role of Jennifer. Hindus have strongly objected to the usage of Hindu terminology loosely in movies. Acclaimed Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, said that “Karma, Confessions and Holi” had nothing much to do with “karma” or “Holi”. Rajan Zed, who is president of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that Hindus welcomed world filmmakers to make films about Hindu subjects but taking Hinduism seriously and respectfully and not reimagining its concepts and symbols just for mercantile greed. “Holi” and “karma” had definite meaning for devotees and improper usage of such terms was not okay. – Sampurn Media

The acerbic Daily Mail says Elle Macpherson, 46, made a stunning entrance at the recent party for all the wrong reasons.
“Unfortunately for her, the focus of attention was not her impossibly long legs or enviably trim bottom but the fact that her knees looked as though she’d spent the morning cleaning doorsteps and used a Brillo pad as an exfoliator,” writes the Daily Mail’s Claudia Connell gleefully.
Is Elle too old to flaunt her legs? Tell us what you think in the comments box below.
The Punch: Fashion over 40 – who dresses their age anymore?
Gallery: The amazing Elle Macpherson
“At the age of 46, Elle has fallen victim to saggy knee syndrome, a cruel and distressing affliction that can randomly strike any woman over 40.”
Connell, who admits she’s a curvy woman in her 40s, says skinny woman are struck down by the affliction earlier than larger girls, and that Macpherson has speeded up the ageing process through years of sun exposure.
“That’s why there comes a time when every woman in her 40s must accept that her days of wearing miniskirts and hotpants are over, and she must embrace a wardrobe that consists of below-the-knee hemlines.”
