Despite rumors that she’s expecting a baby boy, Gisele Bundchen says she doesn’t yet know the sex of her baby – and she doesn’t plan to find out!
“We decided not to know,” Bündchen, 29, who is expecting her first child with husband Tom Brady, tells the Brazilian magazine Caras in a new interview. “We will only know when it is born, in December.”

“I want the emotion of finding out then if it is a boy or a girl,” the supermodel says.
Of course that doesn’t mean she’s not already scouting baby clothes – and shoes – in case she has a little girl. Bündchen, who markets a line of sandals in Brazil, says she’s already reserved baby-size ones. “I kept some little sizes from the collections thinking that, if one day I had a girl, she would love to use them,” she said. “The baby versions are really cute.”
And though she’s six months pregnant, Bündchen is not slowing down, traveling for work (her newest gig is as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nation’s Environmental Program) and taking flying lessons. She is expected to get her pilot’s license next month.
“I am going to keep traveling, but my home is in Boston,” says Bündchen, who moved there from New York City to be close to her husband, 32, as he begins a new season with the New England Patriots.
And Bündchen, who says she’s been eating “more healthily” before the baby arrives, says Brady has been supportive, maybe even spoiling her a bit. “Tom is marvelous,” she says.

To answer Fashion Week Daily’s question — “is it just nous, or is Erin Wasson partout these days?” — that would be yes. The supermodel-turned-stylist-turned-fashion and jewelry designer is in fact pretty much everywhere you look. She threw a monster of a fashion show at New York Fashion Week this season, complete with a live performance from Gang Gang Dance and an appearance from Bruce Willis. (Unfortunately, the fashions themselves weren’t as apt to grab headlines.) And it looks like she’s showing no signs of stopping or slowing down, according to FWD’s recent interview.
Her jewelry line is still going strong: “In the past, I had only done high-end pieces, and so this time around I decided to do costume jewelry,” she says. And, Wasson’s second time (see her first here) moonlighting as a stylist at Elle magazine will be showcased in the magazine’s October issue, for whom she outfitted James King. But if Wasson could really have her way, she’d add groupie to her resume. Specifically, she’d go on tour with the late, great Jimi Hendrix: “Going on tour with Jimi Hendrix would be by ultimate. It would be balls to the wall. There would be no boundaries.” As for what she misses most about her hometown in Texas: “I miss the true southern hospitality. Every guy opens a car door for you. I miss the yes ma’am, no ma’am.” Wonder if Jimi would have approved …

Victoria’s Secret stars Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum yesterday modelled the must-have accessory of the moment – a baby bump.
The catwalk queens were both spotted parading their pregnant figures in stylish maternity wear while running errands.
Gisele, 29, stepped out in her hometown of Boston, Massachusetts, in a full-length summer dress that skimmed her growing tummy.
The Brazillian is six months’ pregnant with her first child to American footballer Tom Brady, 32.
Brady, who plays for the New England Patriots, has a two-year-old son John Edward Thomas with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Gisele has not let her pregnancy slow her down and recently started taking lessons to learn to fly a helicopter.
‘She’s been coming to the airfield for a couple months and she started her lessons a few weeks ago, Keith Douglass, president of Shoreline Aviation, told America’s People magazine.
‘She’s gung ho about learning to fly. She’s one of the best students we’ve ever had,’ he continues, adding that Gisele can fly until November under her doctor’s advice.
‘She’s fantastic at flying the helicopter. She is very smooth and professional and she listens.’
Meanwhile, Heidi, who is counting down the final weeks of her pregnancy, was busy taking her brood to karate lessons in Los Angeles.
The Project Runway host already has three children Leni, five, from her relationship with Flavio Briatore, and Henry, three, and Johan, two, to her singer husband Seal.
The 36-year-old says she is not concerned about regaining her supermodel figure after the birth.
She said last month: ‘It’s bizarre. Just as it’s a miracle that you can grow a human being in your belly, it’s a miracle that your body goes back to normal again.’
But Heidi does insists this child with be her last: ‘We’re outnumbered… four is perfect – three is a lot, but four? It’s a lot of work.’

Elle Macpherson could be ready for a big move – and possibly home to Sydney – with her London mansion off the market amid speculation it has finally been sold.
The supermodel-turned-businesswoman has been trying to sell her seven-storey home in Notting Hill for almost 18 months, with agents Savills advertising it for $13.9 million just a fortnight ago.
But yesterday the six-bedroom, five-bathroom 1850s home had been removed from sale, while she was in New York filming her TV series The Beautiful Life.

While she seemed to be channeling a bit of Susan Boyle on a very dodgy hair day on set this week, it’s not known if the stern look was due to the mansion selling – or not.
Confidential’s man in London David Murray reports Macpherson has sworn her agents to secrecy.
Savills yesterday confirmed the home was “effectively off the market” but would not elaborate.
“I can’t comment at all on this, for obvious reasons. I’m really sorry, I’m not allowed to say anything about it,” agent Jonathan Fuller said.
But rival agents said they believed a buyer had been found for the pad.
“There’s a lot of people looking and Elle’s home … was quite special, it just takes the right person to come along,” one said.
The alternative is that the 46-year-old has decided to stay put.
Elle’s decision to put the home on the market led to speculation she planned to return to Australia with sons Flynn, 11, and Aurelius Cy, 6.
Arpad Busson, the father of her two boys, is still living in London, where he is set to marry actress Uma Thurman at Princess Diana’s former home Kensington Palace.
Macpherson bought her home in 2006 after splitting from Busson.

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and her husband, French President Nicolas Sarkozy, had lunch at Amaranth Restaurant on Madison Avenue in New York City on Thursday, September 25.
Nicolas Sarkozy’s ex wife Cecilia Sarkozy Attias and her husband Richard Attias were shopping just across the street at Hermes, while Carla and Nicolas were having lunch.
Carla Bruni, 41, was a breath of fresh air wearing a lavender twin sweater with elbow length sleeves and dark blue slim jeans. She accessorized with sunglasses, and tan flats. Her straight bronze hair was left open with a middle parting. She cheerfully waved to the photogs.
Former supermodel and singer, Bruni, is accompanying her husband for the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York City.
The French First Lady has been setting off a flash frenzy each time she steps out, exuding elegance and a trademark understated high octane glamour. She sticks to her no makeup, minimal jewelry look, because she believes makeup does nothing after 30. Her dresses are always no fuss, clean and crisp line of cut, with her favorite color being grey. She has never been seen in print since she became the first lady. Being flashy is just not her style. Wearing flats to the state dinners or charity meetings is a norm with the first lady which not only goes well with the shorter height of her husband but with her subtle sense of dressing as well.
The first French lady and her 11 year old step son, Louis, French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s only child with his ex-wife Cécilia, listened to Sarkozy address General Assembly at United Nations headquarters on Wednesday, September 24. Nicolas and Carla visited Cecilia at her New York apartment on Tuesday.
Bruni-Sarkozy has been seen hanging out with friend, Queen Rania of Jordan. The two attended the Superfriends Champions Of The Global Fund Reception together on September 21, the day of their arrival in NYC.
Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, in her address as Global Ambassador for the Protection of Mothers and Children against AIDS, called on the world leaders to commit to eliminate mother-to-child HIV transmission by 2015.
“Around the world only a third of women living with HIV receive the necessary treatment to prevent the transmission. Isn’t it an immense injustice, that thousands of children still are born with HIV, when treatment exists, when no baby needs to be born with HIV?” asked the first lady.
To reach the goal she called on global leaders to double the number of HIV-positive pregnant women who receive effective antiretroviral treatment within 18 months.

Kate Moss was the picture of elegance last night as she turned out to support long time friend Meg Matthews at the launch party of her wallpaper collection at Liberty of London.
The supermodel stole the show in a floor length light green satin gown teamed with a black blazer, matching heels and a clutch bag.
The fashion icon finished off the look by scraping her hair back into a sleek bun.
Kate, who was without boyfriend Jamie Hince, was joined at the bash by musician Goldie, actor Rhys Ifans, former S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens and Lady Victoria Hervey.
Reformed party girl Meg, the former wife of Noel Gallagher, also turned heads in a knee length red dress.
The 43-year-old, a fully fledged member of the Primrose Hill set, is currently gearing up for her wedding to art professor Peter Sidell who proposed to her on top of the Empire State Building in New York earlier this year.
Meg has been keeping a low profile in recent years but looked thrilled to catch up with her famous friends.
Kate also scrubs up well in the brand new advertising campaign for Roberto Cavalli’s Just Cavalli line.
In the ads she wears heavy eyeshadow and bright red lipstick, giving her the look of a femme fatale.
In one shot, she is seen wearing a blue jacket, with nothing on underneath – the pictures show that the supermodel still has what it takes to work the camera.
Kate and friends were joined by drum ‘n’ bass star Goldie, who is also a pal of Meg Matthews.
The bash was the second time in as many nights that Kate had partied with friend Rhys.
The pair were spotted out together at Mahiki in London’s West End the previous night along with Kimberley Stewart and Jamie Hince.
Meanwhile Kate is reportedly preparing to star in a fly-on-the-wall documentary about the opening of her friend James Brown’s first salon.
The 35-year-old ,who already has a successful clothing range at Topshop and recently appeared in the MTV documentary Topshop in 24 hours, will appear in the one-hour show which airs on 13 October on E4.
‘People will see how funny and warm and caring she is,’ James is quoted as telling fashion blog WWD. ‘People will see the real her.’
