In a recent interview with Women’s Wear Daily, the notoriously press-shy Kate Moss told the fashion trade magazine that one of her mottos was: “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” But sticking with it, she says, is a whole other story. Moss adds, “You try and remember, but it never works.”
Moss also credits her supermodel success with being a good person, rather than just a pretty face.
It sounds really corny, but I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure. You can be a pretty face, but if you’re not a nice person, it just doesn’t work. I’m not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I’m all right. If you’re a nice person, it definitely helps.
As for her down time, Moss likes to draw, paint, and make jam.

Claudia Schiffer has hinted she may design her own fashion collection. The German beauty wants to follow in the footsteps of fellow supermodels Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford to create her own range of clothes. Mother-of-two told Britain’s Daily Telegraph newspaper: ‘I have been approached so many times over the last 20 years but it has never been the right time. Now, I would consider it but it would have to be the right thing. They would need to be clothes that I would want to wear.’ The supermodel – who is one of the world’s most successful models and is estimated to be worth ?38m – recently revealed she does not want to model on the catwalk anymore and will instead concentrate on other aspects of modelling. She said: ‘I’m finished with the runway. I won’t miss it.’ She added she gets more enjoyment from watching fashion shows as a spectator rather than taking part. The 39-year-old blonde said: ‘I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the details and that suits me fine. It’s very enjoyable. I like my viewpoint.’

Perhaps the free champagne had something to do with it.
Because the perennially glamorous Abigail Clancy would not normally apply her lip gloss so erroneously.
The WAG was spotted looking a little worse for wear last night leaving a celebrity awards do with what appeared to be a streak of pink gloss across her chest.
However, the 23-year-old model did not seem too bothered about her make-up malfunction as she struck a ‘hello boys’ expression at waiting photographers.
Abi, the fiancée of England footballer Peter Crouch, was out last night at the Cosmopolitan Women of the Year Awards.
The fancy bash was held at London’s Banqueting House and Abi dressed for the occasion in a very low-cut black criss-cross dress that barely contained her curves.
At the end of the night she was led to a waiting car by a minder, looking like she had enjoyed the lavish spread put on at the event.
The Liverpudlian certainly enjoys a night on the tiles and is renowned for being the life and soul of the party.
However, she recently told how she hates being referred to as a WAG. She said: ‘I have a career. That term does my head in.’
While fellow England WAG Coleen Rooney, who is the same age as Abi, has just given birth to her first child with husband Wayne Rooney, Abbey insists she is too young to get pregnant.
She added: ‘I love kids, but I’m only 23.’

A German man is accused of trying to extort money from supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband over a photo of their young daughter “in revealing clothing, bound to a chair and gagged.”
26-year-old Edis Kayalar was recently deported to Germany and is believed to be in Stuttgart, according to authorities.
He has not been arrested.
Officials say even after Kayalar was deported he continued to demand money, asking for $100,000.
The photo was taken by the couple’s former nanny and reportedly shows the girl, who was 7 years old at the time, bound to a chair wearing shorts and a T-shirt, according to court papers filed by the FBI.
The daughter told her parents that the nanny took the picture as part of a “cops and robbers” game, according to an affidavit filed in the case.
Neither Crawford nor her husband, Rande Gerber, knew about the photo and did not consent to any photo being taken of their daughter.
The nanny, whose name has not been released, has not been charged
Kayalar allegedly took the photo from the nanny and repeatedly sought to get money from Crawford and Gerber, court documents said.
Kayalar threatened to sell or release the photo to the media if his demands weren’t met, the affidavit said.
Crawford’s spokeswoman Annett Wolf issued a statement saying, “Rande Gerber and Cindy Crawford intend to pursue any and all available legal action against anyone who aids the perpetrator in the distribution or sale of the photograph of their daughter.”
Crawford and Gerber married in 1998. They have two children.
Kayalar has been charged with one count of extortion. If convicted, he could face up to two years in prison.

Elle MacPherson believes loving and laughing keep her healthy.
The 45-year-old supermodel – who has sons Flynn Alexander, 11, and six-year-old Aurelius Cy Andrea with her ex-boyfriend Arpad Busson – believes she has maintained her immaculate looks because she spends time on her own to relax, meditate and laugh.
She explained: “I take time for myself, I meditate and reconnect and it keeps me healthy. I want to be around for a long time and I need a healthy body, and a healthy body means making sure I get enough sleep, enough vitamins, eat properly, laugh a lot and love a lot.”
As well as keeping her mind healthy, Elle makes sure to keep herself physically fit too.
She told Britain’s Hello! magazine: “I have less time than I used to, that’s for sure. Physical fitness is important to me and not because I need to maintain the shape people think I should be, but because I enjoy being physical from a deeper perspective. When I’m in London I work with my trainer James Duigan at Bodyism, otherwise I surf, ski, waterski and hike.”

Kate Moss celebrated her brother’s 30th birthday in style on Wednesday (11.11.09).
The supermodel was joined by a host of celebrity pals – including her rocker boyfriend Jamie Hince and singer Lily Allen – at London’s The Dome venue in Tufnell Park to help make sports agent Nick’s landmark birthday a special occasion.
A source told BANG Showbiz: “Kate looked like she was having a great night hanging out with her friends and making sure her brother had a night to remember. As soon as the group arrived, they headed straight to the bar for a round of shots before presenting the birthday boy with a massive cake and singing ?Happy Birthday’.”
After catching up, the group made their way over to the dance floor to watch and support 35-year-old beauty’s friends, electro-rock duo The Big Pink, perform to guests in conjunction with the re-launch of online retailers Zavvi.com.
The source said: “For someone who is used to the champagne and caviar of the modelling world, Kate didn’t seem to mind swigging beer from a plastic cup. The group were all smiles as The Big Pink performed and Kate was keen, as ever, to show off her dance moves.”
However, once the ‘Dominoes’ hitmakers finished their set, the now “dishevelled” beauty was whisked aside to chill out with friends.
The source added: “As the evening went on, Kate looked a little dishevelled as her pals dragged her to the back of the room for a sit down and a chat. Even though she had had a lot to drink, she was all smiles. She even pinched one bemused guest’s cigarettes from a nearby table!”
Although Kate apparently had a great night, ‘It’s Not Fair’ singer Lily, 24, took the evening much slower.
The source explained: “Lily didn’t seem to be in the party mood. She tucked herself away in a quiet corner and seemed more than content gossiping with friends than drinking and partying hard.”
