Australian supermodel Elle MacPherson claims life as a single mother is “full of laughter” and she doesn’t mind raising her two children alone.
The 45-year-old who has sons Flynn Alexander, 11, and six-year-old Aurelius Cy Andrea with her former partner Arpad Busson, has said she has no qualms bringing them up alone because she gets to spend a lot of quality time with them.
“There is a lot of laughter in our lives. I believe children’s lives are made up of experiences, not of materiality specifically. It’s not the toys they remember, but the time we spend together learning to ride their bicycle or camping trips or toasting marshmallows,” she said.

German supermodel Heidi Klum gave birth only last month but she will be back on the catwalk in her lingerie next week for Victoria’s Secret.
The 36-year-old model-turned-presenter, who has just had a little girl called Lou Samuel, has moved her trainer David Kirsch into her home for a tough exercise regime.
‘Heidi’s swapped processed carbs, sugar, dairy and fruit for egg-white omelettes, spinach salads and grilled tuna with quinoa,’ says my source.
‘She’s determined to wow everyone when she walks. She’s pushing herself through gruelling twice-daily workouts.’

There must be something in the water in Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood’s household.
Less than a year after the rocker walked out on his wife Jo, I am sorry to report that their son Tyrone has split from his model girlfriend Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
Sources say it was ex D&G model Rosie, 22, who dumped Ty, 24.
‘Tyrone was devastated when she told him it was over,’ says my source.
‘He packed his bag and flew off to LA for three weeks to get over it. He tried everything he could to salvage their relationship.’
Said Jo at last week’s Butler & Wilson 40th anniversary party: ‘He’ll be OK. Plenty more fish in the sea.’
