Tom Brady has opened up about his wedding to supermodel Gisele Bundchen earlier this year.
The New England Patriots star tied the knot with Bundchen in a private ceremony in Santa Monica, CA, in February, attended only by their parents and his baby son.
Speaking to GQ, he said: “We planned [the wedding] in like ten days, and it was perfect. We went back to the house and I barbecued aged New York strips. We had champagne, a cake, some ice cream. It was a great night.”
He continued: “I think you always have this idea that weddings need to be 200 people and you invite everybody, and I’m all for it if people want to do that, but I think there was really something special about just having our parents there.”
Brady – who also celebrated the nuptials at an extended reception in Costa Rica – added: “It’s nothing personal against anybody but it’s not about them. It’s about what you and your wife need for that day.”
The couple recently confirmed that they were expecting their first child together in December. Brady also has a child from his relationship with Bridget Moynahan.

Yet another model turning to design? As Claudia Schiffer celebrates her 21st year as a supermodel, she’s hinted she may be ready to dabble in design.
One of the fashion’s favourite supers, Claudia Schiffer, admitting she still wants to “continue in this role [modelling] as long as possible”, has decided she’s ready to create a collection under her own name.
“I’ve been in this business for so long and developed my name globally, but I have no product to show for it. And I would love to develop it now,” said Claudia, who stepped down from the catwalk recently.
Whilst there’s no specific deals in the works, it seems her dream is to have an investor, a fashion house and a small design team all working under one fashionable roof, WWD reports.
“I have no definite first product in mind, but I would love to do cashmere. It’s something I wear all the time myself, but I’d love to do something a bit more price-friendly. Plus a lot of cashmere lines are very classic and timeless, while I’d want to do it a bit more fashion. Or I could imagine doing handbags,” said the supermodel.
Claudia would follow in the footsteps of fellow model-turned-designers Mila Jovovich and Kate Moss, who have both successfully launched fashion lines (though, granted, the latter forms part of a concession at Topshop rather than her own label).

And then there were three finalists… but Joanna Krupa is not one of them! The supermodel and her pro partner Derek Hough were ousted on Tuesday night’s “DWTS,” just one week shy of the finals.
“It’s been such an amazing experience,” Joanna said after getting eliminated. “I’ve grown as a person.”
So, competing for the mirror-ball trophy on next Monday’s show will be Donny Osmond and Kym Johnson, Kelly Osbourne and Louis van Amstel, and Mýa and Dmitry Chaplin.
Also on the results show, Alicia Keys, Leona Lewis and the Bee Gees performed. Last season’s “DWTS” finalist Melissa Rycroft returned to the dance floor for a special encore.

Another day, another late night out for London’s biggest partygirl Kate Moss.
Following her relatively early 2.30am stint at the Groucho Club on Monday night, the supermodel managed to outdo herself as she partied till 5am this morning.
As she finally emerged from the Almada club in Mayfair, the 35-year-old protected herself from the strong winds with a hooded leopard print fur coat.
After appearing to wear nothing but a pair of black tights and a skimpy cardigan the night before, Kate went for a more traditional nightclubbing outfit of little black dress, tights and Christian Louboutin patent heels last night.
Despite partying two nights in a row, there was no sign of tiredness on Kate’s face as she left the club with boyfriend Jamie Hince.
The couple had started off their evening partying at a friend’s nearby house in Mayfair, before moving on to the club at 2.30am.
On Monday night, Kate stunned fellow revellers at the Groucho Club in Soho when she wore a pair of thick black hose and a partially unbuttoned cardy, accessorised with a tuxedo jacket and shiny brogues.
She added the finishing touch with a black studded belt from her Topshop collection, which at first glance looked like a pair of leather knickers.
Kate, 35, whose Topshop collection now includes lingerie, went without a bra at the London club.
The model, who looked more curvy than usual, recently admitted she had only just started using support.
She told New York magazine: ‘I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle.’
Kate also admitted she’s not sure if she likes her bigger breasts.
She said: ‘My boobs are too big… My boyfriend might not like them. I’m a bit worried.’
But they don’t appear to have put off rocker Jamie Hince just yet.
He joined the model and a gaggle of friends at the club last night.
In a rare interview this week, Kate admitted she isn’t considered a typical beauty.
She told Women’s Wear Daily: ‘I’m not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I’m all right. If you’re a nice person, it definitely helps.’
Kate also revealed her motto is ‘nothing tastes as good as skinny feels’.
Busy Kate, whose Topshop range has proved a hit with shoppers, has just launched her own perfume in time for Christmas.
She says the scent, named Vintage, sums up her personal approach to fashion.
She said: ‘I couldn’t really afford designer clothes when I was young, so I just went to secondhand shops.
‘It wasn’t called vintage then, it was called ’secondhand’ when I was 15.’
She also continues to model for luxury brands like Yves Saint Laurent and Longchamp.
