When she ‘retired’ from the catwalk in 2008, we knew that wouldn’t be the last we’d see of Natalia Vodianova. And lo and behold she appeared on the S/S ’09 catwalk for Balenciaga and then went on to walk for Stella McCartney at Paris Fashion Week in October. And now the Russian supermodel, who charted at number 8 in The Daily Beast’s Top 10 Most Valuable Models list, has been snapped up for not one but SIX campaigns this season! Stella, Calvin Klein (for whom she first became a face in 2005), YSL, Guerlain, Givenchy and Etam (well, she designs lingerie for them so that’s fair enough). With her versatility as well as those feline eyes and gorgeous lips, Nat has always been in demand (she’s worked with Gucci, Louis Vuitton and DVF to name but a few) and our very own beauty director Annabel Jones was only this morning telling us about the subtle look of Eastern European models making them so successful. But surely this is the ultimate modelling jackpot? Looks like retirement will have to wait then…

INTERNATIONAL runway star Nicole Trunfio plans to swap Gucci and Prada for Shakespeare this summer.
The Aussie catwalker, who last night opened the new-look Chatswood Chase, plans to relocate to Sydney from her New York base in December to start an intensive acting course at NIDA.
The aspiring thespian who hosted Make Me A Supermodel’s US edition has been studying for the last four years in the Big Apple but still juggles it around her modelling career.
“I haven’t started auditioning and maybe I never will, but I make money already and I love the art of acting,” she told Confidential yesterday while sunbaking at Bondi.

Here’s some news guaranteed to leave you spluttering on your morning cornflakes…
Supermodel Kate Moss is set to eat loads and loads of FOOD – later today – and she wants the whole wide world to watch her wolfing it down.
Yep, in the wake of “skinnygate” – when she infuriated healthy eating campaigners by claiming “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” – Mossy, 35, is planning a massive public blow-out.
The under-fire star has been busy planning a pal’s birthday celebrations for later today.
Despite being held in late November, with howling gales and torrential rain likely with side lashings of driving sleet all too possible, the bash will be held at an open-air restaurant… in full view of the paparazzi lenses.
Determined to quash rumours that she doesn’t eat, our mole says Kate hopes to be snapped bingeing on the bread basket, scoffing spaghetti and gorging on gateaux during the “impromptu” get together. We’re told: “Kate was deeply hurt by the backlash against her. She does eat and would hate to be a role model for anorexic websites.
“She is sensible about what passes her lips but she is rarely pictured eating. It’s her friend Fiona’s birthday and Kate has taken control of proceedings. She is insisting on an al fresco dinner – where the paparazzi will be rife.
“Once she is seen to be tucking into her grub with gusto, Kate hopes to put an end to the criticism once and for all.”
No scoffing at the back!
Mossy’s invited the usual gang – hairdresser James Brown, Sadie Frost and Jake Chapman – to the feast and we’re told everyone’s been ordered to help load her plate as high as humanly possible.
Our mole chuckled: “For one day only, she will be the great human eating machine.”
News of Mossy’s latest masterplan comes a week after she told a fashion website she would prefer to go hungry than get fat.
The mum-of-one’s comments led to her being blasted by critics who accused her of encouraging young girls to starve themselves – and infuriated billionaire Topshop boss Sir Philip Green.
The tubby tycoon will be even angrier if he misses out on today’s epic open-air banquet. Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, eh Kate? Get stuffed!
