He’s made no secret of the fact that he carried a torch for the Australian songbird.
David Walliams even once described singer Natalie Imbruglia as his ‘dream woman’
But his new wife, the stunning model Lara Stone clearly isn’t one to feel jealous.
Last night she agreed tto let Imbruglia join them for a drinks party at Claridge’s – but judging by the stilted body language in the back of a cab Lara, 26, and Natalie, 35, aren’t the best of friends just yet.

Walliams and Lara hosted a drinks and dinner party at Claridges for a few of their famous friends including Natalie.
They were wed two weeks ago and it seems as though they’re happy enjoying married life with the company of their celebrity friends.
Both women looked equally as stunning in their block coloured monochrome dresses.

Imbruglia, 35, opted for a black off the shoulder number, matched with a pair of sling back peep toe Christian Louboutins.
While Lara Stone, 25, went for the polar opposite in a sleek, tight-fitting white dress that showed off her long legs – with a pair of strappy gold heels.
As well as Walliams’ long-time friend, the couple were joined by David Furnish, Patrick Cox and comedians Jimmy Carr and his namesake Alan Carr, the latter of whom received a kiss on the lips from Dutch model Lara as she greeted him at Claridges.

Walliams and Stone also spent some time at the Nobu restaurant on Berkeley Street in Mayfair before they headed to Claridges, the venue where they married on May 16.
The good humoured couple will be doing their bit for charity this weekend when they take part in an auction at Hampton Court, Surrey on Saturday.
They are offering one lucky bidder the chance to win a jelly fight with Lara to raise money for the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation.
The auction will take place at the fifth annual Midsummer Gala at Stud House this Saturday, and Walliams has agreed that, in the name of ‘Olympic fairness’, he will referee the jelly fight.

Other lots in the auction include lunch with actor Kevin Spacey and a dinner prepared by Sophie Dahl with music provided by her husband Jamie Cullum.
Meanwhile, Walliams has been hard at work creating a new comedy show for BBC One with his partner in crime Matt Lucas.
Filming on the six-part series, which will be based in an airport and feature new characters played by the pair as well as a number of guest appearances, has yet to begin.
The BBC’s head of comedy Mark Freeland said the new show, which has the provisional title Come Fly With Me, would mean “boom time” for “dress, wig and make-up suppliers”.
The programme is expected to air later this year.
