Catherine McNeil is a Bonds girl

catherine-mcneil-in-bondsAustralian supermodel Catherine McNeil has joined the very select Bonds girl club.
The 21-year-old is the latest big name to star in a campaign for the Aussie underwear brand, following in the footsteps of Miranda Kerr, Elyse Taylor, Sarah Murdoch and Cheyenne Tozzi.
“I like to be able to support Australian fashion when I can,” said McNeil, who recently split from television personality Ruby Rose.
“I’m glad to join the (Bonds) pack now.
Anyone would want to belong to that club.”
Mother-of-three Murdoch is still a face for Bonds, having launched its hipster campaign more than a decade ago, and an unknown Kerr fronted the brand’s 2004 campaign.
Bonds general manager Kate Hann said: “We select our girls each season, ensuring they’re genuine, quintessentially Aussie with a current look and great attitude.”
“It’s great to see so many have gone on to international careers.”
McNeil is one of Australia’s top modelling earners, commanding up to $12,000 for a catwalk appearance and a six figure amount for top international designer advertising campaigns.
Her lucrative one-year contract with Bonds is confidential, but McNeil’s signing marks a move towards high fashion for Bonds with the brunette a regular face for top fashion brands including Givenchy.
