Naomi Campbell: ‘I Would Love to Have a Family’

Supermodel Naomi Campbell reportedly had surgery this spring to address her infertility, a procedure she had previously described as “the removal of a small cyst.”
“They thought it was a cyst,” she explained, according to Britian’s Press Association. “When they opened it up they realized it was more.”
Since the surgery, Campbell, 38, said she’s now in perfect health and hoping to conceive.
“I was not able to have children up until March,” she said. “Now it’s in God’s hands. I would love to have a family.”
In related news, the beauty icon has begun work in a center for the homeless as her punishment for assaulting a police officer. Campbell is working at the Whitechapel Mission drop-in center in London’s East End, which provides shelter for the homeless, reports Sky News.
She has to carry out 200 hours of community service after an apparent “temper tantrum” over a lost bag at Heathrow airport in April. The English model swore at a British Airways pilot and attacked police while she was being removed from a plane in handcuffs.
Her duties at the center include, helping out with paperwork in an office. After her first day, the designer attended a society party where she said she had gotten along well with people at the shelter, and had invited them to her London charity fashion show next week, which aims to raise money to prevent women dying in pregnancy.
“I had a great time today,” she said. “Everyone was so lovely and welcoming. I’ve invited them to my show and they’ve promised to come. “I just want to keep my head down and get on with it,” she told the Daily Mirror.
