Emily Ratajkowski sizzles on the cover of GQ US

She shot to fame a year ago thanks to the music video for Robin Thicke’s single “Blurred Lines,” which instantly became 2013’s summer anthem, and American bombshell Emily Ratajkowski is the cover girl for the latest issue of GQ US.

Captured by fashion photographer Michael Thompson, the smouldering twenty-three year-old beauty appears on the cover of the publication’s July 2014 number in nothing but a skimpy black bikini bottom, with her modesty being hidden behind a necklace made of flowers. An exclusive interview with Ratajkowski accompanies the featured series of images, each one more smouldering than the last.

Nowadays she is no stranger to doing modeling gigs which require little to no clothing, but the sultry brunette admitted that she was initially hesitant about the music video appearance that put her on the spotlight. “I didn’t want to do it at first, but I talked to the director and I understood what it was,” she revealed. “I do like it,” she said of the hit single “Blurred Lines.”

Ratajkowski, who will make her big screen debut in Gone Girl followed by an appearance in the Entourage film, acknowledged it is inevitable not to be associated with the song while out in public. “If there’s one thing I’d request, it’s for people who see me out to not be, like, ‘You’re the hottest bitch in this place,'” she said, adding; “When it comes on in a bar, I run into the bathroom and hide.”
