Miranda Kerr turns geisha for Vogue Japan’s 15th anniversary issue

As one of the most high-in-demand supermodels in the world, Miranda Kerr is perfectly used to taking on different characters for her numerous fashion shoots. And the Australian stunner channels a stylish geisha for the newest issue of Vogue Japan.

The thirty-one year-old beauty has been enlisted to grace the (November 2014) fifteenth anniversary number of the Japanese fashion bible photographed by the famed Peruvian lensman Mario Testino. Kerr is displayed on the front of the glossy rocking an eye-catching ensemble composed of a multicolored kimono and an elaborate feathered coat, topped off with a black geisha wig.

Stepping out of the usual, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel is seen posing against a grey backdrop rather than the white ones Vogue Japan is well known for using on its covers. The accompanying editorial styled by Anna Dello Russo features Kerr dressed in an array of outfits inspired by Japanese culture including samurai and manga.
