Kate Moss buys ?20m Paris apartment

Kate Moss is buying an apartment in Paris. The supermodel is believed to investing in a new home in the area of Paris known as the ‘Golden Triangle’.
Moss has already put down a deposit on the apartment, reported to be worth ?20m. According to The Daily Mirror, Moss’s new Paris apartment is on the banks of the river Seine, “just a baguette’s throw from the flagship Chanel store”.
The six bedroom apartment has views of the Eiffel Tower from the reception room. Overall, the flat measures 6,290 sq ft.
“[Kate] loves Paris,” a source told the paper. “After 34 years in London, Kate feels it’s time for a break and cannot wait to immerse herself in the Parisian way of life.”
Moss’s new penthouse apartment is “in the most fashionable part of town,” the source added. The model is planning on moving to the flat in spring, initially using it as a weekend getaway but with a view to living there full time.
However, Moss is keen not to lose touch with her roots. To this end, she will keep a base in London as well as her Cotswolds home.
She will take her daughter Lila with her to Paris and has also invited her boyfriend, Jamie Hince. Like Moss, Hince will keep his UK home as well as using the Paris apartment.
