Gisele Bundchen: It’s a Benjamin!
It’s been 10 long days, but Gisele Bundchen finally revealed the name of her son on her official Web site today: Benjamin.
Which just may explain why her hubby, New England Patriots [team stats] QB/QT Tom Brady [stats], kept passing the ball to teammate Benjamin Watson [stats] during last week’s Carolina Panthers game. Darn! If only we were better detectives.
The Brazilian supermodel thanked her fans “with all my heart for the immense love” shown to her, according to her Web site, giselebundchen.com.br.
“It is a pleasure to receive messages from each one of you here. I am living a very special moment in my life,” gushed Gi. “Benjamin is a blessing and I could not be happier.”
The new mom also wished her devoted worldwide followers a merry Christmas and “a 2010 with lots of light!” She signed her merry missive, “Kisses, Gisele.”
Earlier today, her hubby was asked at Gillette Stadium if he and his wife had finally decided on a name for their son, who was born Dec. 8 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
“That’s old news,” he said. “It will come out eventually.”
