Carolyn Murphy’s sex tape battle

The legal battle over a sex tape involving supermodel Carolyn Murphy has extended to the Valley. Murphy is currently the face of Estee Lauder and appeared on the cover of the 2005 Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition.
From 1999 to 2002, she was married to surf shop owner Jack Schroeder, who was in court Wednesday night at Fourth Avenue Jail. During their marriage, the couple apparently made a sex tape and now the two are in a legal battle over the release of it.
Schroeder’s spokesman said that his client was in court after he was arrested for allegedly not showing up to a court appearance related to the sex-tape disclosure. The spokesman also said that his client is posting a $7,500 bond and is expected to be released from jail sometime today. Murphy and Schroeder are still battling in court over whether or not their sex tape will be released to the public.
