Oink!Oink! Eva Pigford fires Tyra and her last name…

You can call her Eva Marcille now, thank you very much…
The winner of “America’s Next Top Model” formerly known as Eva Pigford has changed her name along with changing her management, reports the New York Post’s Page Six.
“She’s looking for a fresh start,” an insider told the paper of her decision to give pink slips to her co-manager Tyra Banks and Benny Medina.
It was Banks’ show “America’s Next Top Model” that turned Pigford from an ill-mannered Los Angeles teen – as seen on Cycle 3– into a successful, working model who now hosts her own fashion-related reality show on BETJ called, “My Model Looks Better Than Your Model.”
The 22-year-old now has a new management team headed by Jerome Martin, reports the Post.
Tomorrow, the runway diva will also officially announce that she is dropping her harsh-sounding last name Pigford and replacing it with her more palatable middle name, Marcille

I like Eva, but I think when people feel they are bigger then the people who made them, this presents a problem. I do hope the split was on both parts and I wish you much success.

I love Eva soooooooo much. At first I had some qualms about her firing Tyra, but then I was like: Well Tyra really hasn’t been doing a good job managing her since she hasn’t been doing anything. Her name should be in the media just as much as Hillary Duff, Rihanna, and the rest of the stars who don’t come close to my pint-sized super star. Oh and Mary H. great job on the hating…

I am happy for Eva Pigford…oops sorry Marcille. It just goes to show that no matter what your background is…You Can Still Make It. My problem is that often times when people get big they often forget where they come from. Like Amanda stated I hope the split was mutual. Frankly, I still believe Ya-Ya should have won.

Eva the Diva is right ,I dont think her last name matters its what you do with that name,She’s played in a few movies as the same kind of girl ghetto and physco. I just really hope that she continues to be sucessful and doesn’t continue to let fame eat her alive. I know being a model is a special thing but when do us as americans realize some people (not saying eva) go to far. She is beautiful though.

I just watched the last epi of cycle 3 last night (we’re way behind in my country!) and I was happy to see Eva win over Yaya. It’s a good that she’s still out there making a career for herself, and firing Tyra is just a natural step if she wants to come into her own. Go Eva!

Eva rocks! Y’all can say what you want about Eva, nothing can change my opinion of her. I agree, she should be on all the entertainment shows! If she was, maybe I would actually watch those shows. X3

Eva is the Baddest B*#$h!!! She deserved to win, not that YaYa didn’t, she was great too. Don’t disregard YaYa, she is also a working model. There are not enough models of color and Eva reps us well. I’m sure she had a very good reason for hiring new management, Tyra fired Benny Medina, too. Good luck Eva and keep repping for the models of color.
