Former supermodel Tyra Banks is looking for love, but will wait for Mr Right because disappointing relationships have left her heartbroken.
The America’s Next Top Model creator, who has been linked to singer Seal and film director John Singleton in the past, claims she won’t settle until she meets ‘the one’.
The 33-year-old beauty says, “I want someone to be there because I want him there, not because I need him there. I never wanted to depend on someone. “When we were filming the last season of Top Model, I was going through some man drama. Heartbreak is serious pain! But once you get through it, you look back at the person you were crying over and realise they were never meant to be the one.”

Fans of Kate Moss will soon be able to smell like her, for the British supermodel is getting set to launch her own fragrance.
And bringing Moss’ unique smell to the world will be cosmetics giants Coty, the same fragrance manufacturer who has teamed up with Jennifer Lopez, Sarah Jessica Parker, The Beckhams and Gwen Stefani to create their own signature fragrance.
The deal is reported to be worth 5 million pounds, and Moss’ fragrance is set to debut in the autumn. It will first be launched in Europe, the Middle East and Australia, and then in the US.
Moss revealed that she was “delighted” with the deal. “I’ve been delighted to work with Coty over the years and am pleased to collaborate with them on my first fragrance,” Hello magazine quoted her, as saying.
Moss’ fortune has taken a sharp 360 degree turn from 2005, when she was embroiled in the infamous cocaine scandal. And though at the time, she was dumped by few of fashion giants, she has now managed to get them all back.
Other top names who have hired her since the scandal are Roberto Cavalli, Virgin Mobile, Rimmel, Burberry, Dior and Belstaff.
Moss also featured in the prestigious 2006 Pirelli calendar.

The woman accused of stealing supermodel Naomi Campbell’s identity at a string of recent celebrity parties has been named and shamed. The catwalk beauty was said to be “extremely concerned” about her imposter, after it emerged the fake Campbell tried to attend Oasis’ Brit Awards after-show party last week . She was refused entry by the band member Noel Gallagher.
Yesterday it emerged the fraudster was professional Campbell lookalike Susan Sangster, 36. She apologised for the pranks, insisting, “(I) am so sorry if there’s been any confusion. I’ll certainly be setting the record straight from now on.” Campbell retorts, “This girl doesn’t even look like me. There is only one Naomi and it’s a full-time job, let me tell you.”

The entertainment and sports world got a bit of a shock when New England Patriots QB Tom Brady was named the father of a child that his ex Bridget Moynahan is expecting. The star quarterback and Bridget dated for some time, but the announcement came through a New York gossip columnist and apparently Brady had no idea that his ex was going to reveal the pregnancy.
Brady was blindsided one report alleged. Us Weekly Magazine, quoting a friend of Brady’s, said the couple did not know about the baby when they broke up, but the football hero believes Bridget tried to “make him look like a jerk” by talking about it while he was in Paris with his new best friend, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. So where was Tom when the news hit? He was overseas with his supermodel girlfriend.
Many pundits also speculated that the Moynahan bombshell may have been designed to put a kink in the romance between Tom and Gisele.
If that is true, it appears it has had the opposite effect. According to the Boston Globe, Brady and the beauty have been relentlessly pursued by paparazzi during their visit this week to Paris - YouTube has a five-minute clip of the cute couple kissing at the Cafe de la Paix - and that’s not likely to change.
And, according to the Globe, Gisele is supporting Brady, 29, amid the baby brouhaha. “[Bridget ] is trying to make Gisele upset. It isn’t working. They are doing really great and they have a lot in common,” an associate of the Victoria ’s Secret siren spilled to the paper. “Gisele was never so happy, not even when she dated Leonardo Di Caprio.”
The report details that the two are off to Milan next, where Brady will watch Bundchen walk the runway as a favor to her fashionable friends Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. (Gisele’s the star of D&G’s current “The One” campaign.)
The couple are expected to be back in the Big Apple by Friday, where they’ll likely hole up in Bundchen’s penthouse apartment in the West Village. Said Gisele’s pal: “I bet they will get married anytime soon.”

Supermodel Caprice Bourret has been admitted to a rehabilitation clinic in London to seek help for depression.
Bourret, 35, reportedly checked into The Priory last week and is undergoing addiction therapy.
Friends of the model apparently urged her to seek professional help after her depression made them concerned for her well-being. One of them told The Sun: “Caprice has had a tough time. She has been feeling very low.
“Her career has stalled and she’s not getting any younger.”
She is the third celebrity to check into the renowned clinic in two weeks. Last week saw both Jade Goody and Robbie Williams admitted for depression and a drug addiction respectively.

Super-sized models sashayed down the catwalk as Milan launched its fashion week yesterday with a fuss over fashion’s role in anorexia. Italian designer Elena Miro - who specialises in fashions for full-figured women - opened the autumn-winter 2007-08 collections, which will feature 103 fashion shows this week. Showing European size 46 (Australian size 14), Miro’s models looked curvier than the industry’s standard slim 38 (size 6).
But other Italian designers are railing against the new directive by the Italian Chamber of Fashion to use fuller-figured models with a healthy and sunny Mediterranean look.
The Government is threatening to legislate unless Italian designers abide by the voluntary industry code, which says thin models should have to show a medical certificate proving they are not dangerously underweight.
The new code bans models younger than 16 from the catwalk - a move that would have nipped top Australian model Gemma Ward’s career in the bud, as she shot to stardom modelling for Prada in Milan at the age of 15.
Designer Stefano Gabbana, of the label Dolce & Gabbana - which does not belong to the fashion chamber - branded the scheme ridiculous. “I’ve heard all the designers oppose this, and I’m prepared to bet we will see the same skinny models on the catwalks as always,” he told this week’s issue of Italian Vanity Fair. “Models have always been thin … Why don’t they also introduce drug testing to see which models are using cocaine?”
Gabbana, 44, said it was unfair to blame the fashion industry for anorexia. “Women have to understand that the models on the catwalk or in the magazines are aspirational models of beauty and youth, who give us an incentive to take care of ourselves, to better ourselves - but not examples to copy.”
However, Gabbana admitted if he had a teenage daughter, “I would never let her model”.
Italy’s directive stops well short of Spain’s rules banning models with a body mass index below the World Health Organisation limit of 18.5. Italian Youth Minister Giovanna Melandri said the Government would look at legislating unless the industry changed its image. It was worrying, she said, that nearly two-thirds of Italian girls aged 11 to 15 wanted to be thinner. Fashion model Eliana Ramos died from malnutrition last week - six months after her 180cm, 40kg older sister Luisel died after a catwalk show following a three-month lettuce diet.

Supermodel Kate Moss must take a drugs test in order to travel to the US, it has emerged.
Because of her cocaine scandal last year, Kate was informed by officials at the American Embassy in Grosvenor Square that in order to obtain a work visa for the States she would have to undergo a test to prove she was clean after the well-publicised scandal, even though she was never charged with an offence.
If Kate refuses to take the test, her application will be refused. An inside source stressed that as soon as a negative test is produced Kate will be able to obtain a visa and take up lucrative modelling contracts in the US.
Let’s just hope she’s not planning on taking fiancé Pete Doherty along with her…we reckon he could run into real difficulties.
