Milan Fashion Week Kicks Off

Milan Fashion week is here and started off with a chilly start. Nevertheless the collections that were featured today gave avant-garde a new name.
Missoni unveiled large necklines which is a twist from their usual knitwear to Giorgio Armani who brought the flavor of aristocratic glam with some 80’s flair with his Emporio Armani collection.
While designer Francesco Scognamiglio made clear that bows are still in for Fall and Roberto Cavalli brought the animals back on track with his line Just Cavalli.

Although I am not a big fan of bows, especially LARGE bows such as this (they should never be bigger than your head;)…I did see some former models (one was Meredith Tresi and the other was Christi Turlington) wear them at a Fashion Party in NY several years ago and I liked them. So I guess it just depends who is in them!

I saw Meredith Tresi at a boutique on Madison Ave, agn?s b, shopping with her daughters recently. I didn’t know who she was by sight (she was big before my time) but I overheard her talking to the Manager there bc apparantly she did recognize her. Anyway, she kindof looks like a european exotic type. Why there are no pictures on the web to find? I know sometimes the names just aren’t on the pics with all models but I don’t know. She’s about 5′9″, very long dark hair and really beautiful. I think she’s between mid-30’s to mid 40’s.
If anyone has a site to refer me to for more info, I would appreciate it, thanks.
