Gisele’s Grandfather Reacts to Surprise Wedding

Gisele Bundchen’s grandfather opens up about the supermodel’s surprise wedding to NFL star Tom Brady — and explains why he couldn’t attend the nuptials.
“Marriage is a natural thing that happens in people’s lives,” Walter Bundchen told Brazilian magazine Quem, according to Us magazine. “I wanted so much to see her married!”
Bundchen explains that health issues prevented him from attending the wedding, says Us mag. “I can’t take a long distance flight,” he says.
Reports indicate that Gisele and Tom tied the knot last Thursday afternoon in Santa Monica.
