Matthew McConaughey set to become dad for second time … and model Gisele’s pregnant too

Matthew McConaughey has announced that he is expecting his second child with girlfriend Camila Alves.
The 39-year-old Fools Gold star, who is already father to 11-month-old son Levi, proudly declared the family’s good news on his website on Father’s Day.
‘Happy Father’s Day – it’s my first, and the last 11 months with Levi and Camila have been the most rewarding adventure to date – we have more blessed news to celebrate this Father’s Day that make this time next year double the fun,’ he wrote.
Voted the sexiest man alive in People magazine in 2005, McConaughey has starred in films such as The Wedding Planner, Sahara and A Time To Kill.
He previously dated a string of Hollywood beauties – including Sandra Bullock and Penelope Cruz – before settling down with long-term girlfriend Camila.
The actor recently admitted that becoming a father had forced him to grow up.
‘I’ve got a family now, a tribe. I’ve got a child that I’m a guardian over.
“That gives me more to live for than before,’ he told WENN earlier this year.
“Levi is going to be a big brother… Yeah, we pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time, Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for.
‘The future looks bright as the family grows and we thank you for all the well wishes you send our way.’
The Texan star, who loves exercising and surfing, was living in a trailer on a Californian beach when he started dating the Brazilian model, who persuaded him to move into a home and start a family with her.
Meanwhile it seems McConnaughey isn’t the only celebrity preparing to hear the pitter patter of tiny feet.
After months of speculation it has been confirmed that model Gisele Bundchen is expecting a baby with her husband, American football star Tom Brady.
Various sources told People magazine that the couple, who were married in February, are expecting their first child together. The baby is thought to be due early next year.
And finally, Brothers & Sisters actress Rachel Griffiths has given birth to her third child.
The actress and her husband Andrew Taylor already have two children, daughter Adelaide Rose, three, and five-year-old son Banjo Patrick.
