Kate Moss museum exhibition delayed

September 3rd, 2009

Kate_MossIf you’d been hoping to hop on Eurostar this November to check out the much-buzzed-about Kate Moss exhibition at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, you’d better think again. (Though the Laudree macaroons are worth the trip alone, we reckon.) The show, which was due to explore Kate’s supermodel status through iconic photographs from the past 20 years, has been delayed until 2010 due to lack of funding. The museum relies on private donors for big-scale exhibits like this and, surprisingly – since Kate’s name can pull in cash from everyone from Topshop’s Sir Philip Green to cash-strapped teenagers – no one is chomping at the bit to help get this one off the ground. Still, you’d think if Kate really wanted it to happen she could stick her hand in her pocket, herself…
