Liz Hurley lights up Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball in a plunging white dress, as Lara Stone snubs the dress code in red

As one of the highlights of the showbiz calendar every year, famous females don their finest white and black ballgowns to attend Sir Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara Ball.
As Elizabeth Hurley, 45, went for her signature slashed-to-the-thigh style in a sweeping white Versace gown, Dutch model Lara Stone snubbed the black and white trend for a red hot look.
Keen to stand out from the crowd, David Walliams’ new wife, 26, wore a simple red floor-length gown and Chopard earrings, with not even a tiara to nod to the dress code.
Stone’s attendance at the glitzy bash comes a month after she married Walliams following a whirlwind nine month romance.
Meanwhile, Hurley was in good company as she arrived on the arm of her handsome husband Arun Nayar.
The two couples joined a host of stars at Sir Elton’s annual party, including model Lily Cole, singer Jon Bon Jovi, designer Valentino Garavani, actress Kate Beckinsale, Dame Shirley Bassey and dancer Michael Flatley.
Aside from the usual suspects, some of the more surprising guests included Kerry Katona, Peter Andre and Alex Gerrard.
Thousands of miles away from her footballer husband Steven, Mrs Gerrard, 27, wore a black and nude Julien McDonald dress that had been worn by fellow WAG Cheryl Cole in another colour at the Glamour Women Of The Year awards two weeks ago.
