Elle MacPherson says she’s ‘not a beauty’

She is known as The Body, but supermodel Elle Macpherson thinks she is “nothing special” to look at.
“I’ve never, ever perceived myself to be a beauty, although I know I work well with what I have,” Macpherson, 47, told The Sun newspaper in the UK.
“I think I do a reasonable job most of the time.
“I can separate who I am from how I look.
“So I’ll look at my photographs objectively and say, ‘My shoulders could be more face-on’.
“But outside work I’m just not that interested.”
Macpherson, who is hosting Britain’s Next Top Model TV series told the newspaper that she was not scared of the march of time.
“What’s the other option? I can’t stop time,” she said.
“My body’s fared me well.
“I don’t feel pressure to be The Body, because it’s often all smoke and mirrors, believe me.
“I just feel really appreciative that I’m so strong and healthy. I ran this morning for six miles, I do yoga and waterski and I’m nearly 50.”
