Miranda Kerr in Rag & Bone’s DIY project
Miranda Kerr is the latest model to be chosen for Rag & Bone’s DIY project. The project is defined by Rag & Bone as “Where our favorite girls get into our jeans. No stylist, no hair and make-up, no lighting. Just a girl and her camera. And Rag & Bone.” It is where girls can snap themselves wherever they want, whenever they want wearing their staple Rag & Bone jeans. Just like recent DIY girls Abbey Lee, Carolyn Murphy, Karolina Kurkova, Lily Aldridge, and Sasha Pivovarova, Kerr was asked to interpret Rag & Bone in her own way. She had Husband Orlando Bloom and friend and fellow model Lily Aldridge shoot her for the project between New York and New Zealand.
The Project is definitely a unique one as it allows the models to do everything on their own terms. The shoots capture the models in their natural states and leaves them in full control. “Lily took the pictures of me in NYC & we were dancing to her Ipod mix!” said Kerr of her experience doing the project.
