Sneak previews of Love Magazine February 2012 cover shooting show two queens of the catwalks showing off their shinny pointy ears. Reunited for Love after two years, Kate Moss and Lara Stone brought out their inner pussycat. This time the wonder blondes, made up to to look alike, posed to Mario Testino in a warm and connective embrace.
Kate and Lara, styled by Panos Yiapanis, were the stylist’s favorite designers layered up with clothes from his own studio. So, besides the cute little ears by Yiapanis, Lara dazzled in a Stella McCartney print dress under a written all over vintage denim jacket and Kate slipped into a Prada red silk body covered with a studded chain-mail biker jacket.
Their feline looks and purposed resemblance was achieved by hairstylist Orlando Pitta and make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury’s meticulous work. The hair, from the dark roots to the blond tips, waves down in the exact same shade. The natural eye, pale lips and matching freckles make-up focusses on their cheekbones, awaking subtle feline features.
A funny background in vibrant blues and turquoise added the final summery touch.
