From the runway to the red carpet: Abbey Lee Kershaw gives acting a try.
Abbey Lee Kershaw is the movie industry’s latest runway aquisition. Joining Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Agyness Deyn and Gemma Ward on the list of models-turned-actresses, the Australian supermodel is debuting in Fury Road, the fourth installment of Mad Max.
With an estimated budget of 130 million dollars and a stellar cast – Inception star Tom Hardy and Oscar winner Charlize Theron -, this movie comes forward as the new runway for the bleach blond fashion darling, after the knee surgery that kept her away from autumn/winter 2013 fashion shows.
Abbey Lee is already a worldwide success in modelling industry: she’s ranked number five in Models.com’s Top 50, stars the amazing number of eight spring/summer 2012 campaigns and features countless fashion editorials. And, despite all the effort she put on modelling, she managed to find time to be equally devoted to Our Mountain, the successful rock band she sings in with her model boyfriend Matthew Hutchison.
That being the case, acting is probably a natural new challenge for Miss Kershaw’s extensive list of curricular and extra-curricular commitments. So far, fashion loses a star.
