Janice Dickinson, the self-proclaimed “World´s First Supermodel,” Faces Eviction.

It seems that the catwalk queen turned reality TV star has been hit with an eviction lawsuit.  Her landlords are accusing her of owing them rent in the sum of $17,700 for a property in West Los Angeles.  In the suit filed with the Los Angeles County Superior Court earlier this week, it states that Dickinson has been handed a three-day notice to pay her back rent or move out of the property but she has allegedly failed to comply. Now the lawyers want the judge to evict her.

Many of us know Janice Dickinson as the loudmouth judge of America´s Next Top Model and she has appeared on other reality shows where celebrities go when their career has come to a standstill.  In her heyday, she was one of the most sought after supermodels and the toast of the fashion world.  She has graced the covers of many legendary magazines such as Vogue, Playboy, Harper´s Bazaar and worked with noble designers such as Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and Gianni Versace.

Unfortunately, the fashion world often turns its back on the old and gray.  In a desperate attempt to restart her career, she embraced the reality show world and made her mark for a short time as a judge on America´s Next Top Model.  Her four-season stint brought her back into the limelight as the brutally honest voice of the show and gave her a breakout start.  But then she was replaced by Twiggy and Janice was put out to pasture again.  Since then she has appeared in other shows such as Abbey & Janice, Beauty and the Best and I´m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.”  Yes folks, this girl is all class.

In her desperation for cash, Janice Dickinson dabbled in the world of writing and wrote her first book, a sort of autobiography entitled, “No Lifeguard on Duty: The Accidental Life of the World´s First Supermodel.”  The book sold well and motivated her to write another book entitled, “Everything About Me is Fake….And I´m Perfect!”  In this book she details her experiences with plastic surgery and her struggles with eating disorders and alcoholism.

So where do supermodels go when their stardom comes to an end and the fashion world decides to forget them?  Some make their mark as workout instructors like Claudia Schiffer and Cindy Crawford and some through good business savvy.  And others……well others like Janice Dickinson find themselves at the mercy of a judge in Los Angeles.
