Emma Watson leaves “Hermione” behind as she poses for Nylon magazine

She played the role of Hermoine Granger in the hit movie series, Harry Potter. She was the girl with the “serious look” on her face in the movie but two years later, Emma Watson is all grown up.

The actress still has that look but it is sexier now and somehow sultrier. In the photoshoot for Nylon magazine’s “The It Issue” Emma poses with some of her co-stars from The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. In one shot she gazes sultrily into the camera wearing a preppy schoolgirl outfit of short grey skirt and sweater. This look suits the grown-up “Hermoine” just fine. In another shot, she is pictured at a desk wearing a riding helmet and holding a pencil in her hand as she casts another one of those looks at the camera. There there is a shot of her posing against the fence with her co-stars wearing a short plaid skirt and a jacket. We love this shot and Emma looks positively radiant here.

Nylon’s marketing editor, Michelle Reneau said Emma had her own ideas as to how she wanted the shots done. “She didn’t want to wear earrings – so at one point she took an actual safety pin, cut off the sharp end and put it through her ear.”

Ouch! But whatever works to have a winning photoshoot and this one seems to be a winner folks. It is edgy, sexy, moody and it shows a grown-up child star in all her glory. Two thumbs up on a great photoshoot.
