Irina Shayk wanted to show off and to turn heads on the red carpet at the All is Lost premiere in Cannes and she did both.

The Russian-born model wore a daring gown that was covered in black beading and sequins and showed off her killer model credentials in a gown that had cut-out detailing and sheer panels and let the gown do all the talking as she preened and posed for the cameras wearing a big smile on her face. Believe it or not, the dress did do all the talking as it showed off her slender figure and her to-die-for curves. The black thong was clearly visible and so were her incredible “boom-booms!” Smoky eyes, toned-down makeup and pink lips completed the picture of “sheer” sexiness.

Others who impressed on the red carpet was Jessica Chastain who impressed in a purple Ricardo Tisci gown that was pain-stakingly hand-embroidered with stones, paillettes and Swarovski crystals and she was a walking dream in purple! Model Alessandra Ambrosio put on another sensational number, a glittery gown that featured a silver fishtail finish and looked like a mermaid on land. Petra Nemcova opted for a peach-colored beaded and sequined dress and flashed her pearly whites on the carpet. Suffice it to say that all was just “peachy.”

The man of the moment, Robert Redford made a showing on the red carpet in a dapper tuxedo and was accompanied by wife, Sibylle Szaggers who looked delicate and pretty in a blue lace gown. The latest Robert Redford film spins the tale of a lone sailor adrift on the Indian Ocean and the veteran actor had this to say about the film. “I believe in the value of silence in film. I believe it in life as well, because there’s a lot of talk around – maybe too much.”

Perhaps, he’s right. So, it’s “silence” from our side for just a little while anyway! Have a great day.
