“Imperfections are beautiful” so says Gisele Bundchen
Supermodel Gisele Bundchen is taking a stand over too much photoshopping in fashion campaigns and wants models to portray a more natural look, blemishes and all.
The almost perfect model who looks drop-dead gorgeous au-naturel just as she does with her warpaint on is speaking out and told Fashionista that she wants photographers to embrace imperfections and to steer clear of over-retouching to produce a result of perfection.
Gisele went make-up free for her latest campaign with BLK DNM where she does everything possible to prove this point. In the campaign, she is seen make-up and hair styling free and we must admit, she looks gorgeous. She added, “I feel like women should be really real and raw and it doesn’t really happen anymore. I love that feeling of, you know, we are women – we are so different. Our imperfections are what makes us unique and beautiful.”
However, it must be easy to go au-naturel when you look like Ms Bundchen and have genes that never give up on you, come rain or high-water! Not everyone is as lucky as she is and that folks is the honest truth!
