Karlie Kloss showcases ‘futuristic eveningwear’ for American Vogue photoshoot

She’s tall, she’s skinny and she has the angular facial bone structure to many any fashion shoot a success and Karlie Kloss proved once again that she’s perfect for any role that is required of her.

Karlie strutted her stuff for the American Vogue ‘futuristic eveningwear’ photoshoot earlier this month in New York City and looked like the role was custom-made for her. Accompanied by electronic music duo Daft Punk, the model sashayed in a cream netted dress sporting a crimped blonde bob. Then she changed into a purple floral trouser suit and paired it with a white fur stole which made her stand out from the crowd while the Parisian duo, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo decided to go incognito wearing space age helmets and robotic arms.

The successful musicians are pretty coy about their worldwide success saying, “We consider what we do a Wizard of Oz situation. It’s one guy behind a curtain pushing all the buttons. In 20 years, some of the collaborators on this album might not be here anymore. It’s an opportunity for us to pay them homage.”

Successful or not, the musicians did a marvelous job of collaborating with Karlie to make it a smashing photoshoot. The August issue of Vogue will be on newsstands everywhere on July 23rd.
